What a great find! This hotel is amazing we got in late dinner was still being served until Midnight. Woke up to an amazing breakfast buffet which was included. Gym, and pool was a great addition! I recommend this hotel to anyone! The room was very comfortable AC and actually pretty roomy for a European hotel

So our flight was cancelled so we were hooked up with this hotel for the night. It was super cute and clean. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Hotel had WiFi, pool, and dining area. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There any many restaurants near the hotel And even a jazz club.

Great hotel. Style and at a good price. Shuttle to the airport was a breeze. Bed was comfortable, room clean and shower was hot. You can't go wrong here.

Close and convenient to the Madrid humongous Barajas airport. 10 - 15 mins drive. We stayed here ALL week for our business travels. During the pandemic, and now into a phase in the June 2020 month where things have somewhat opened up. While the hotel people are lovely and nice, don't expect much in the way of the amenities staff and services. It's a very tough time for ALL hotels and traveling. They're trying hard. The smaller king bed rooms get nice and cold in this warmer weather. And, I will say that with the black out, roll-a-window vertical shades that you can have the room at its darkest. You see we are daytime sleepers. The room's mini refrigerator doesn't get that cold, but at least there is one. Don't expect an individual room iron and board, however the front desk will offer if asked. There were NO wash cloths in the bathroom. I don't know if there are not supposed to be any? They have a restaurant on site but the full service isn't available as of this writing. Only limited carry out menu's are. There are very limited restaurants within walking distance. And, the La Bekada right behind, I wouldn't come here again. The food's horrible. There are a couple of other places (bars, a restaurant) around the corner street side. In front of the hotel's main entrance is a little market for food and drinks. There is a larger modern shopping mall (about an easy non threatening, 15-20 mins. walk). I would choose here as it houses some nice Italian restaurants and other fast food like eateries. Like La Tagliatella, a very nice one if you enjoy pizza and pasta (3 1/2 - 4 stars - my opinion).

Hotel is ok. The pick up at the airport too. You have to call the hotel prior and it takes 5-10 minutes. The driver just stopped and I had to see by myself how I get everything in the bus. Small steps with a suitcase. Was a challenge!! Rooms are hot. But it's clean. Beds are ok. For just a night and an early morning flight is quite ok. I reserved the shuttle for the next morning and was there at 6 am or maybe 06:01 and they told me it was already gone. I haven't seen it at all. And they were absolutely impolite. And tried to explain it. But If I make a reservation for what reason I should change. Then she always talks in Spanish with me even if I explained her that I do not understand. She then just said something that she's no longer discussing with me. So I will see whether the next one will be on time.

Although this restaurant does not have a very good rating on Google, we had a very good experience here. We started off with gin tonics and fried anchovies, and then had the hake with seafood sauce. The hake was delicious and covered with mussels, prawns, squid, and baby shrimp. We had good service and the price seemed more than reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. Another big plus for us was that it was serving dinner at 7:00 p.m.. We had an early flight the next day and didn't want to eat late.

A great option to eat if staying at NH Barajas Hotel as it’s next door but too food and service are great! I will definitely return if staying in the vicinity.

Muere una mujer atacada por un tiburón a 514 kilómetros de Canarias mientras es trasladada al Hospital Doctor Negrín

Un helicóptero del ejército del aire español se encargó de evacuarla hasta el centro sanitario, tras pedir ayuda la tripulación del barco de recreo en el que viajaba, el catamarán británico dalliance chichester.

Una ciudadana alemana de 30 años murió anoche a bordo de un helicóptero del Ejército del Aire español que la evacuaba a un hospital de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria tras haber sido atacada por un tiburón en el Atlántico, a 514 kilómetros de Canarias, ha confirmado a EFE Salvamento Marítimo.

Los hechos, que adelanta el diario digital Atlántico Hoy se produjeron poco antes de las 16:00 horas (hora canaria) en alta mar, a unos 180 kilómetros al oeste de la ciudad de Dajla (Sáhara).

La tripulación del barco de recreo en el que viajaba, el catamarán británico Dalliance Chichester, pidió ayuda sobre las 15:55 horas a Salvamento Marítimo español, que comparte responsabilidades internacionales de rescate en esa zona con la Marina Marroquí.

Por ese motivo, Salvamento se puso en contacto con el centro de control de su servicio homólogo de Rabat, que pidió que la emergencia fuera asumida por España, porque no tenía medios en la zona.

Salvamento Marítimo emitió de inmediato una alerta a todos los buques cercanos al catamarán, uno de los cuales se acercó y pudo ofrecer medicamentos a sus tripulantes.

En ayuda de la accidentada acudió desde Gran Canaria un helicóptero del Servicio de Búsqueda y Rescate (SAR) del Ejército del Aire, que embarcó a la mujer sobre las 20:05 horas, han precisado las fuentes.

La mujer, que había perdido una pierna en el ataque del escualo, entró en parada cardiorrespiratoria durante el vuelo y llegó ya muerta al Hospital Doctor Negrín de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

El catamarán en el que viajaba había salido el 14 de septiembre desde el puerto de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria en dirección sur, según la ruta que han registrado navegadores de seguimiento del tráfico marítimo como marinetraffic.com o vesselfinder.com.

De acuerdo con el registro internacional de incidentes con escualos que elabora el Museo de Historia Natural de Florida (EEUU), a lo largo de la historia solo hay constancia de seis incidentes confirmados con tiburones en Canarias y otro más probable.

Ninguno de ellos fue mortal.

En el lugar donde se produjo el ocurrido este lunes y sus alrededores, no se ha documentado ninguno anterior. El más cercano, además de los de Canarias, fue notificado en el archipiélago africano de Cabo Verde

As a result of careful studies, C-Cat 65 has a reduced displacement thanks to the carbon infusion of bulkheads, hull and deck, to obtain an ideal strength and structural rigidity, with a very low weight. That’s how, even in long ocean crossings, timings are greatly reduced.

The hull lines express a strong personality: they are modern, harmonious and sleek and characterized by double steering integrated on the hardtop, where all manoeuvres are practical and organic. The deck winks at the racing world, for cleanliness and functionality, with a careful vocation to the convivial style typical of Made in Italy. The spaces are wide so you can get comfortable in every spot.

The saloon in connection with the large cockpit becomes an immense open space where you can live your space in great comfort. The retractable window reconstitutes the two rooms living virtually no trace of its presence.

The interiors are designed in consideration of the relationship between space and function to be able to respond to the contemporary owners of sailing and motor: the different solutions from 3 to 4 + 1 cabins are proposed with elegant and sophisticated fittings, also customizable for use.
