For brunch cruises, a $10 gratuity per person is to be paid on the yacht to the server. We expect our guests to help support our inviting and family-friendly atmosphere by arriving in the appropriate dressy casual attire. We ask guests NOT to wear the following: excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments, see-through attire, mesh outfits, clothing with offensive language or graphics, ball caps, or torn pants. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform their party of the dress code. Admittance to Yacht StarShip is at the discretion of management who reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who arrive in attire not fitting our dress code, regardless of the reservation status. Patrons and guests who arrive and do not meet dress code requirements will not be permitted to cruise and tickets will be moved to store credit that is good for up to one year.

Went on this dining cruise for an anniversary dinner and it was great. The staff and waiters were friendly, efficient and had great service. Food was delivered to our table in a matter of minutes. I would definitely recommend.

I've had a love-hate relationship with this dining cruise ship since my first trip. I had my fourth experience this past weekend, and I am back to unimpressed. What has remained consistent on all those times is the pattern...back and forth through a mostly dark channel barely visible at night from the inside of the boat. I think of a half dozen other places in the Tampa area that I'd rather be sitting, dining, and enjoying a water view. (My first experience was almost ten years ago; it was extremely disappointing..it was dark and dingy and the boat looked, felt, and smelt old, and the food was *awful.) I went back again about five years ago to a more impressive dining experience (I was told the business was under new management) and then a few weeks later with my entire office for a Christmas party. Having an entire boat load of coworkers - if you like them, and I did - was really fun and the food was probably the best it had ever been; there was a large outdoor deck above, and ample space for dancing...but the trip was so short that we barely had 30 minutes after our meals to dance, mingle and enjoy the experience. We were back at the dock before we knew it. Fast forward to this past weekend, another event sponsored by a business we adore, so we signed up for that reason only...we are back to mediocre food (it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable either) It was buffet style and our table was very close to last to be called...a few items were gone and not being replenished. While this boat seemed newer than my previous experiences, it was incredibly small; it felt like we were crammed in like sardines...there was enough dance space for about six small children, and very little room to move about the rest of the boat. I had plans to spend New Year's Eve on the boat with an out of town friend, however...been there, done that, time for something different/better. We'll be looking for something else to do this year.

We are always happy to see someone come back time and time again! With December being our busiest month we typically have all three of our dining yachts available for booking. It sounds like you may have been on one of our smaller yachts during your most recent cruise. Our largest yacht, StarShip I, holds 600 passengers, while StarShip II and Sensation hold about 150 passengers each. Although there's a significant different in size, your comfort level should be the same no matter the boat you're aboard. We are sorry that you did not feel this way during your last cruise. We rank in the top 28% of all restaurants nationwide and take pride in offering excellent service to all of our customers. Our holiday buffet is prepared fresh on board by our Executive Chef and as always, if a customer is displeased or requests a particular item, we will do what we can to accommodate if it is brought to our attention. By validating your chip coin with Yacht StarShip, you are able to receive the regular garage parking rate ($2/hour) instead of the inflated event parking rate ($10-$15) that you would have been charged that evening. We include this information in every confirmation e-mail, but apologize that it was not clearly communicated to you during the night of your event as well. We sincerely hope that you will decide to cruise with us again. Our New Year's Eve Fireworks Celebration Cruise sells out every year and is the best way to enjoy the Tampa Bay! We hope that you will reconsider your decision to join us and again thank you for your feedback.

Extremely disappointed as a first (and probably last) time patron. I had heard that it was fully narrated... But evidently not during the month of December. Salad and salmon was superb (which is the only reason for the two stars), chicken was dryer than I've ever had. Just doesn't make sense to take a trip on a waterway that they don't even tell you where you are or who lives there or anything.

What a wonderful Christmas Eve experience for my Dad who was visiting from Texas over the holiday. I booked online at the last minute & was pleasantly surprised that our reserved table was on the second deck near the bar & had a spectacular view of Clearwater. The DJ played a perfect selection of Christmas music mixed with classics & modern party music. The buffet was exceptional offering prime rib, Mahi mahi & blackened chicken. We ended up sitting on the top deck so we could enjoy the breeze and 70 degree weather. It was definitely a Christmas Eve Memory with my Dad I will never forget!

Gasparilla 2016! If you get a chance to go on the Yacht Starship for the Gasparilla pirate invasion, you will not be disappointed. We were on the top floor which is outside so if there is bad/cold weather you might want to get indoor seating but the top has the best view so if it's nice out you will definitely want the top. The food was terrific and we only had to wait in line for drinks behind a few people. Drink pours were good and they used normal size cups (not small ones which some places do when it's open bar). Best place to be to see the Jose Gasparilla flotilla invade Tampa!!!!!

Excellent meal, nice cruise for couples, the crew was excellent and very courteous. The view at night was very nice.

We booked this for NYE and it was terrible! The ship never left port and no fireworks due to foggy weather but there was never an announcement. The DJ announced midnight was approaching but never did a countdown ! Worst of all I received a response back from Jill that basically called me liar and said several announcements were made and DJ did countdown. I guess we were on two separate yachts ! She offered me $50 to compensate our $600 wasted expense. Not worth it.

Hi Marisa, as we stated after your previous review on another site, we would really like to speak with you regarding your experience and see how we can make this right. We were very disappointed that we could not leave the dock due to the U.S. Coast Guard shutting down all vessel traffic, but we still worked hard to give all guests a fun evening. We could not find your reservation to call you, so please contact us at either 813.223.7999 or email [email protected] to speak on Monday.

This isn't my first rodeo here. The brunch, and the evening event are both phenomenal! The unlimited mimosas are delicious! My favorite flavor is raspberry lemonade! I enjoy the eggs creole for an entree! The staff and crew are delightful! Will continue to come back!

First time onboard, wife and I really enjoyed the trip. I've worked on previous dinner cruise vessels, this cruise was a lot more Interactive and enjoyable. Captain Wendy did a marvelous job with safety announcements, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasion announcements for everyone to hear, she also pointed out dolphins in the bay. Ali, the food and beverage manager, also took time out of his busy night to make sure service was as expected and if we were satisfied with everything. I would highly recommend this cruise and company, as they hire the best and brightest and make sure there service isn't sub-par.

I had such a great time in this cruise with my sisters. We were in Tampa celebrating her birthday and wanted something fun and different to do at night. Stumbled across this deal on Groupon and we took a chance. We had a ball we got to see the Tampa bat at night and party under the stars. The live band on board were amazing so talented and they played songs for every type of music lover. We literally danced all night and there was a bar on each floor which made getting drinks or water cry convenient. Such a beautiful night thank you for the memories.
