Made a trip from NY and with the help of some friends we threw a sweet sixteen party for my daughter on their awesome boat. Had such a great time.. Amazing family and super helpful.. DIAMOND Specifications

Launched in 2011, the 36.25m (119') motor yacht Diamond is a wonderful sport power boat, built by the Italian shipyard AB Yachts, part of the Fipa Group. Belonging to the AB 116 fast Motor Yachts, the superyacht Diamond boasts naval architecture as well as exterior by Marco Arnaboldi, with lovely interior by Guido de Groot. The AB 116 Diamond features a generous flybridge with a unique floating command helm.

With a slender looking hull, smooth, tapering, and winning lines, the contemporary interior of the AB 116 superyacht Diamond can accommodate a total number of 11 guests. She provides a generous full beam master cabin, with a spacious bathroom, relaxation lounge and a fitness room that can be converted into a twin cabin. There are also additional two twin cabins as well as a VIP double cabin. The split level main salon follows the AB tradition of creating large vertical spaces ahead of the helm position. Diamond carries a friendly crew of 6 professionals. AB 116 luxury yacht Diamond is run by three MTU 16V2000 M93 CR engines, producing 2400 HP each, with 3 MJP water jets that can propel this amazing vessel to a top speed of 46 knots. RINA classed, Diamond has a beam of 7.5m (24'61'') and a maximum draft of 1.6m (5'25'').

Yacht Accommodation

Accommodation aboard Diamond yacht is provided to 11 guests in a full beam master cabin with a large bathroom en-suite, relaxation lounge and a fitness room convertible into a twin room. Furthermore there are two additional twin cabin and a spacious VIP double cabin.

Entertainment:   Dazzling entertainment for dancing on the lounge deck. The Cruise Director (DJ) can play to any crowd, making the dance floor the most popular place to be after dining.

Weddings:   Ceremonies for 80 on the second deck and a main dining room that seats 80 make this yacht ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions of 80 passengers or less. Reception only of 100 passengers or less.

Exterior Decks: Yacht StarShip III features an outside seating area on the bow main deck, and a partially covered second deck veranda for 50 passengers.

The 57.3m/188' 'Diamond' motor yacht built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 9 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Jack C. Anderson.

Built in 1998, Diamond boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters.

Guest Accommodation

Diamond offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 9 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, four double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 10 beds in total, including 1 king, 5 queen and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Diamond is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,606 nautical miles from her 167,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

When not cruising Diamond has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two Kawasaki WaveRunners. Additionally, there are four waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are four wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Diamond also features inflatable water toys, kneeboards and snorkelling equipment. When it comes to Tenders, Diamond has you covered - with three tenders, including a Zodiac.

Diamond was built by AB Yachts in Viareggio, Italy. It was delivered to an American client on the last day of December in 2012. 

AB Yachts was created in 1992 with the goal of setting the standard in the world of pleasure yachting. Since then it has taken distinctive steps in the boat building world.

For the first time we have seen jet drives applied to high performance craft with small dimensions. Specifically researched structural resins have been introduced, collaborating with the most innovative firms in the field of composite materials. Finite element design programs have been applied to optimize the sizes of existing structures.

These are just a few of innovation introduced by AB Yachts, which is now a consolidated enterprise with ample spaces for building and completing yachts.

AB Yachts is a future-oriented shipyard.

+ Description

Diamond has a four stateroom layout with a GYM that offers pullman berths for availability of a fifth guest stateroom. The master suite is midships and full beam. The king berth, large seating area and enormous bathroom will please even the most demanding. There is a queen berth in one of the guest suites, twins in another and bunks in the kids room. Every stateroom has a private, oversized, bathroom.

Forward of the stateroom space is an atrium that offers a great seating area for private conversations, watching football or simply relaxing. 

Forward off the Atrium is the crew area and galley. There are three crew staterooms with heads and showers. The crew has their own dining/lounging area.

On the main deck is the open, airy salon and pilothouse, The pilothouse is equiped with every modern electronic device necessary to take Diamond to amazing adventures. On first inspection you will note the simplicity in the joystick controls for the MJP jets. 

The dining salon is just aft of the pilot station. It seats ten. The roof over the dining salon opens offering great views and fresh air.

The salon is aft of the Dining salon divided by a low hutch. Immediately you will observe the large windows on this entire main deck offering great views from any location. 

The aft deck is spacious and offers entertainment space and seating as well as a large lounging area. 

The transom opens to supply storage for a tender, jetskiis, dive equipment or nearly any water sports gear.

On the main deck forward of the pilothouse and accessed by the wide walk around deck is a comfortable seating area for ten with an umbrella for sun protection. There is a tender garage on the bow for a second tender or more jetskiis.

The flybridge offers sunning, seating and dining options. There is also a pilot station on the flybridge.

Diamond will reach speeds of 40 knots and will cruise at 35 knots.

2022 upgrades: full paint, new electronics, new salon flooring, new salon furnishings, all exterior teak decks replaced.

Diamond was built by AB Yachts in Viareggio, Italy. It was delivered to an American client on the last day of December in 2012. AB Yachts was created in 1992 with the goal of setting the standard in the world of pleasure yachting. Since then it has taken distinctive steps in the boat building world. For the first time we have seen jet drives applied to high performance craft with small dimensions. Specifically researched structural resins have been introduced, collaborating with the most innovative firms in the field of composite materials. Finite element design programs have been applied to optimize the sizes of existing structures.

These are just a few of innovation introduced by AB Yachts, which is now a consolidated enterprise with ample spaces for building and completing yachts. AB Yachts is a future-oriented shipyard. Accommodations Diamond has a four stateroom layout with a GYM that offers pullman berths for availability of a fifth guest stateroom. The master suite is midships and full beam. The king berth, large seating area and enormous bathroom will please even the most demanding. There is a queen berth in one of the guest suites, twins in another and bunks in the kids room. Every stateroom has a private, oversized, bathroom.

Forward of the stateroom space is an atrium that offers a great seating area for private conversations, watching football or simply relaxing. Forward of the Atrium is the crew area and galley. There are three crew staterooms with heads and showers. The crew has their own dining/lounging area. On the main deck is the open, airy salon and pilothouse. The pilothouse is equipped with every modern electronic device necessary to take Diamond to amazing adventures. On first inspection you will note the simplicity in the joystick controls for the MJP jets. The dining salon is just aft of the pilot station. It seats ten. The roof over the dining salon opens offering great views and fresh air. The salon is aft of the Dining salon divided by a low hutch. Immediately you will observe the large windows on this entire main deck offering great views from any location. The aft deck is spacious and offers entertainment space and seating as well as a large lounging area. The transom opens to supply storage for a tender, jetskiis, dive equipment or nearly any water sports gear. On the main deck forward of the pilothouse and accessed by the wide walk around deck is a comfortable seating area for ten with an umbrella for sun protection. There is a tender garage on the bow for a second tender or more jetskiis. The flybridge offers sunning, seating and dining options. There is also a pilot station on the flybridge. Diamond will reach speeds of 48 knots and will cruise at 40 knots.

At the center of the C lies an atrium with floating stars and a lift without walls that allows seafarers to navigate decks in a novel fashion. Highlights of the living quarters include a duplex owner’s suite, a partially enclosed sea lounge that can be used at anchor or on the waves, a beach club with a sea-level dining area, and a private observation deck with an articulating crow’s nest. To top it off, C is outfitted with two infinity pools that match the hexagonal shape of the atrium and other seating areas.

C also shines on the technology front. She features a sleek hull and a fully electric propulsion system similar to sisterships Breathe and Savannah that renders her 30 percent more efficient than a typical 246-footer with dual shafts, propellers, and rudders, according to Feadship. Her streamlined underwater profile means less wake, too.

C will also be equipped with fuel cells and lithium-metal batteries that will together cover all power needs. (Feadship has also incorporated fuel cells on Project 821 .) Green methanol will be the fuel of choice due to its relatively high density and ease of use. Normal cruising speed on the fuel cells is 14 knots, while a top speed of 17 knots can be achieved by adding the battery power. In addition, two wave-actuated fins can generate enough grunt to cover one-third of the hotel load.

C will be fully unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show next week. The yacht is just a concept at this stage, but Feadship says she is completely buildable. Perhaps the yard will land a buyer at the show.
