SECOND LOVE Yacht for Charter

The 146’ (44.5m) superyacht SECOND LOVE is a classic tri-deck motor yacht by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. She was built in 2004, and a recent refit in 2021 has left her in immaculate condition. A classic Trinity, she’s warm and welcoming throughout, with a soft, contemporary touch.

SECOND LOVE has vast deck spaces perfect for socializing and relaxing. Her main deck is the ideal spot for drinks and canapés after a busy day on the water. Here, guests will also find a plush couch and armchairs framed by a set of stairs, leading to the swim platform and easy access to the water.

Entering her luminous main salon through a wide set of sliding glass doors, guests will find a neutral color palette of whites, beige and blues mixed with warm African cherry wood paneling. It’s a comfortable space in which to entertain, particularly with her pop-up TV and hidden wine coolers. A formal dining area for 10 is found forward.

SECOND LOVE can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, or 12 with two children, across five cabins. Her on-deck master cabin, full-beam and beautifully appointed, includes ample storage, couch, fridge and office area with desk and printer. A large en-suite includes his-and-hers wardrobes and bathrooms, large vanity area, walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. Four additional guest staterooms are accessible via an exquisite curved central staircase to the guest foyer, complete with mini fridge for easy access to guests’ favorite beverages at all times. Two king VIPS sit aft, both equipped with desk area, large wardrobe and en-suite with double sinks and shower/tub combo. Forward to port is a queen stateroom with a desk area, large wardrobe and en-suite with shower. Finally, she has a twin cabin with two additional Pullmans for small children.

Her skylounge is cozy and warm with large windows that bring the outside in, offering guests breathtaking views. With ample seating, a small games table and a large bar, it’s easy to see why this area is a guest favorite on the interior.

Her bridge deck aft features alfresco dining at its best: this space can host up to 10 guests around a large round table. Cleverly, optional panels can be put up to block the weather when needed.

Arguably the best spot on board is SECOND LOVE’s sundeck. This deck hosts everything one could desire for lounging or entertainment. Forward is a large Jacuzzi accessed via a short flight of wide steps and surrounded by sun pads, with optional shading. A set of loungers sits just behind while a centrally located wet bar with stools and TV is to starboard and dayhead to port.

SECOND LOVE is a stunning charter yacht with an experienced captain and all-star crew. She would be an excellent choice for those with families or a group of friends looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, particularly with her well-equipped toy shed.

Cruise ship tour: Last look at the original 'Love Boat'

What does the death of an icon look like? Our latest Cruise Ship Tour , in the carousel above, offers a last look at one of the most famous cruise ships of the modern era, the Pacific Princess, which is being torn apart at a scrapyard in Turkey.

Recognizable to millions of Americans as the "Love Boat" of 1970s television, the one-time Princess Cruises vessel made its final voyage in August to the scrapyard after failing to sell to a new owner.

As you can see in the photo tour, by veteran cruise writer and ship photographer Peter Knego, the 42-year-old vessel is sandwiched between several other former cruise ships that are being dismantled in Turkey. In a trip down memory lane, Knego combines images taken during a recent trip to the scrapyard with historical exterior and interior shots taken over the past four decades.

• 3.000 EUR worth of fuel (fuel above that amount is to be paid extra)

Extra payments:

• APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of charter fee paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter: food and beverages for the Charter Party, port and marina fees, fuel for tender operated water toys (donut, waterski, wakeboard, jet ski), national park entrances, custom fees and charter licenses if chartered outside of Croatia, shipping agent’s fees and anything else that guests might need or require while on charter. A strict set of accounts is held by the captain throughout the charter and any funds not spent are refunded to the client in full.
• VAT: 13% from the charter price
• APA to be paid in cash on board or as a wire transfer with the last payment to a shipping agent’s account. If APA is to be paid as a wire transfer, commission of 1.5% for the shipping agent will be deducted from the APA.

• Terms of payment : 50% at booking confirmation, 50% forty five days before charter commencement
• Crew gratitude is customary and not in the price included (usually varies from 10% to 20% of the charter fee)
• The price does not include : transfers from/to the airports, yachts, hotels, crew tip, 1.000€ repositioning fee for embarkation / disembarkation in any other port except base port, if “empty leg” caused
• To drive a jet ski in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the Jet ski. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Jet ski if one does not have a license with him/her

Domagoj Trgo

Domagoj Trgo, the captain of luxury sailing yacht Love Story, has more than 15 years experience in sailing business. He comes from a family with a long maritime tradition and this boat is the sum of many years of hard work, dedication and experience that he gathered over these years.

Domagoj was born in 1983. He attended a vocational high school to gain education as a shipbuilding technician, and then moved on attend the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Split, earning the title of naval architect.

He spent the next few years working as a crew member on yachts in Croatia, focusing on nautical tourism and learning from captains with many years of experience. In the summer of 2005, Domagoj became the owner of the gulet Atlantia, and he continued gaining experience as a captain and as a host.

His hard work and dedication earned him and his gulet a great reputation. In 2015, he bought the gulet Morning Star and refitted it. With a new ship, Domagoj is proving himself as an excellent captain and his guests love him because of his cheerful attitude and kind manners.

He has spent his whole life connected to the sea. From an early age, he started spending time on boats, sailing, swimming and playing water polo. Nowadays, he spends most of his time working on his boat and business, but when he finds free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with his wife and son and playing football.

His wife has also worked with him in his business and has similar interests. She studied oceanography and marine research.

Chief deckhand

Ivan Trgo, born in 1988 he attended vocational high school for electronic technicians.

After high school, he attended the MaritimeFaculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license.He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants asa waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in theSplit shipyards.

In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the boats. He has been living in Ireland for a few years, so his English is at an excellent level. In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling.

He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an excellent host and communicator. He will do his best to make your holiday on Love Story unforgettable experience.

Krešimir Trgo

Krešimir Trgo, Domagoj’s brother, was born in Split in 2000. Although very young he is experienced working as a sailor and a waiter.

He was connected with the sea from the early ages, as he started sailing with optimist on his own when he was 7 years old. During that time, he learned all about the winds and currents and gained his knowledge of life on the sea.

When he was 16 he started working with his brother Domagoj on their yacht Morning Star and from that time on he continues to win over all the guests with his smile and kindness.

Meanwhile, he learned all about luxury service while working on yachts and in restaurants. During the winter, he is studying Maritime Electrotechnical and Information Technologies on Faculty of maritime studies.

Filip Paladin

Filip was born in 1996 in Split, where he finished high school. Since he was a little boy, he loved the sea and ships.

So it’s not surprising that he joined the Love story team. He is a qualified deckhand with experience in the yachting industry.

He is a very responsible and hardworking person who is not afraid of facing new challenges but, at the same time, a person who wants to learn and progress daily.

In his free time, he loves playing football and hiking with the crew during off-season periods.

Kristina Lovrić

Kristina was born in Split and grew up in a small town by the sea near Omiš. She has shown an interest in cooking since she was in high school, and over the years it has turned from a hobby into a professional job.

Following quite a while of working in different industries, she accepted the position of head chef on a yacht where she worked for 8 years. Through her work, she got to know numerous cuisines and teamed up with culinary experts from different nations.

She shows excellent results in all segments of cooking and has a special love for desserts. She speaks English, is communicative and open to cooperation and suggestions from guests.

Her longing is to satisfy every guest and furthermore give them a special experience of becoming more acquainted with the excellence of Croatia through food.

Ana Lukrica Martinović

Ana Martinović was born in Supetar on Brač on January 11, 1996.

She graduated from the Construction Geodesy Technical High School in Split and gained education as an architectural technician. She continued her education at the Logos College in Mostar, earning a Bachelor of Interior Design title.

As the third child from a working-class family, she started working very young. She is unafraid of a challenge, loves learning new skills, and pushes her boundaries.

She has many years of experience in tourism and working with people. Passionate about communication, she actively speaks and writes English and is familiar with the basics of Italian.

She worked as a waiter and hostess in a restaurant and learned all about luxury service. She also interned in a furniture salon as an interior and custom-made designer, showcasing her creativity.

Ana is very cheerful and kind and loves children. She lived and worked as a babysitter in London and, for the last half-year, in Jersey City.

She loves to travel, explore new destinations, meet people, try different foods, and immerse herself in other cultures. Her hobbies include dancing and going to the gym. She likes to sing, spend time in nature, and hang out with her friends in her free time.

Andrea Buzov

Andrea Buzov was born on October 30, 1996, in Split. She attended the School of Economics and Office Technology in Split and graduated with a major in Economics. Andrea developed a passion for exploration and communication growing up, influencing her career and personal pursuits.

Andrea has held various roles throughout her professional journey, gaining diverse experiences. She started as an assistant cook and waitress at ff Stari Plac, followed by a position as a saleswoman and cashier at the Stradivarius store. Later, she worked as a maid on a tourist boat, broadening her skill set and understanding of customer service.

Outside of work, Andrea dedicates her free time to a variety of interests and hobbies. She enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness and pilates. Additionally, she finds fulfillment in giving back to the community by volunteering at an asylum for abandoned animals. Her adventurous spirit leads her to explore new countries and cultures, where she thrives on experiencing diverse environments and meeting different people.

One of Andrea’s lifelong passions is beautification, a love that has driven her to pursue manicuring for the past seven years. Through her dedication to self-improvement and her genuine interest in connecting with others, Andrea continues to navigate her journey with curiosity and enthusiasm.

They had us stay in the bay every day and we had fun under the sun. Thanks to the captain we had no rough sea in stead of that loving places we could see.

Built by Westport in 2004, the 42m luxury motor yacht Forty Love recently underwent an extensive over 2 million euros refit and is now offered for sale with a 1 million euros price reduction ! Secret Love has been under the same family ownership for all but five years of her life, she maintains her original charm and qualities. 36.5m Secret Love was totally custom-built to the highest standards with excellent sea-keeping qualities, special attention was focused on the safety and strength of the vessel making Secret Love a true ocean-going yacht.

Designed by Struik & Amerslag, extensive use of luscious fabrics and Bird's Eye Maple give  Secret Love 's elegant interior a highly sophisticated feel. With a full beam master suite, full beam VIP cabin and two twin cabins, each with a marble en suite, she can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. Crew accommodation is for eight.

Removal of sunken 'Lovebug' superyacht underway after weeks in Chesapeake Bay

The removal process for the "Lovebug" superyacht, which capsized in the Chesapeake Bay , has begun.

More than three weeks have passed since the Lovebug overturned, sending all on board into the water. While the five individuals aboard were rescued without injury, the multi-million-dollar, 100-foot yacht has remained in the water near Edgewater, Maryland, until now.

Yacht remains in Chesapeake Bay days after flipping over in open water

FOX 5 is continuing to follow the clean-up after a multi-million dollar, 100-foot yacht ran aground in the Chesapeake Bay.

Workers from Donjon Marine Co., the company responsible for recovering the yacht, began arriving on Tuesday morning to start the process. Additional assistance is expected later this week, with the yacht's removal anticipated by Friday.

Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Coast Guard have maintained a safety zone around the yacht.

The investigation into the cause of the capsizing on July 27 is ongoing.

Yacht flips over on Chesapeake Bay

A 100-foot yacht called the Lovebug flipped on its side and is stuck in the Chesapeake Bay. Indications are that the boat suffered some sort of catastrophic failure before 12:30 on Saturday. FOX 5’s David Kaplan reports along the Bay in Anne Arundel County where the boat is still stuck.

I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?
