Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 finale and reunion: Here’s everything we know

Captain Glenn Shephard and Daisy Kelliher on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 has not disappointed, that’s for sure!

Sadly though, Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew’s time on Bravo will soon come to a close.

The recent schedule change only picked up the pace of Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

That means the finale and Parsifal III crew reunion are on the horizon.

Let’s take a look at when both of those things will happen and what’s to come on the show.

When is the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 finale and reunion show?

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Below Deck Down Under Season 2 premieres on Bravo on Monday, July 17. That means Below Deck Sailing Yacht will wrap up Season 4 before that.

Based on the Bravo schedule, the finale will air on Monday, July 10. There are no new episodes on Monday, July 3, due to special programming for the Fourth of July holiday.

The reunion show will follow on Monday, July 17, likely as the lead-in for Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under.

It’s unclear as of this writing if the reunion will be in person like other Bravo reunions or once again be virtual. Hopefully, Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans will finally get an in-person reunion. There has never been one for the sailing show.

The last Below Deck in-person reunion was for Season 7 of the OG series.

There’s still plenty to come on Below Deck Sailing Yacht despite the limited number of episodes left.

What’s still to come on Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

Daisy Kelliher’s sister Bonnie will make an appearance soon. The mid-season trailer teases that Bonnie gets her freak on with deckhand Alex Propson.

One group of demanding guests remain in the season that will have Daisy, Lucy Edmunds, and Mads Herrera running around like crazy.

The hottest topic of the season, of course, has been the love drama between Colin MacRae, Gary King, and Daisy Kelliher. It appears that will play out until the crew leaves Parsifal III with likely many unanswered questions.

After all, things have drastically changed between Gary, Daisy, and Colin since filming ended. You can find out where they stand with each other today here.

Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been quite entertaining, but like all good things must come to an end soon. The finale and reunion show will be here soon.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Episode 10 Recap: Secrets Revealed

Last week on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Chief Engineer Colin MacRae was trying to clear the blocked plumbing in the crew quarters. Apparently, the blockage originated in the girls’ cabin, but Colin was able to get everything flushing once again.

Afterward, he joked with Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher , “This is why Gary [King] calls you ‘Daisy Poo,’ huh?” She chased him out of her cabin, as he admonished everyone to wash their hands.

Finally, Captain Glenn Shephard called the crew to the salon for the long-awaited tip meeting. I’d forgotten the guests had just left. Time to show me the money!

Even though Glenn looked pleased with the amount, it was only $13,000 US, which breaks down to $1273 Euros per person. That’s actually quite generous when you think that it was only a 24-hour charter. And having just four guests on board gave the crew a chance to catch their collective breath and not be so frantic.

An end-of-charter surprise

After passing around the tip money, Glenn again wished Gary a happy birthday. The crew was headed out for another night off, but the captain urged them to save some energy for the next day since they would have a full day off, a rare treat mid-season. Everyone cheered with happiness.

Not only were they getting an entire day off to rest and play, but Glenn announced, “I’ve got you guys a private cabana on Blu Beach, and they will also be doing dinner for you. Recharge your batteries, ’cause we still have half the season to go.” A nice surprise, Glenn, which should go a long way in raising crew morale.

“This has been a very tough season for me,” Daisy interviewed. “There’s sun, there’s beer, there’s Colin. I’m pretty f***ing stoked.”

Gary’s birthday party

While Glenn was helping himself to some dinner, Daisy told him, “We’re setting up a party for Gary up there [on deck]. Are you joining us?” Of course, Glenn wanted to join in the festivities, since Gary’s his boy.

While setting up a cake, drinks and balloons for Gary’s party, Daisy complimented Colin on the shirt he had on. “The situation with Daisy and I just feels natural,” Colin told production. “Because we know each other so well, it’s just comfortable. The only thing I’m concerned about is that it’s gonna affect our friendship because we’re great friends.” Oh, Colin, please don’t break my heart. I have such high hopes for this relationship. Please don’t let that be foreshadowing.

When Gary finally stepped upstairs, he found all his friends wearing “Gary” masks, complete with a jaunty cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth. “I can’t see sh*t,” Glenn complained.

He loved the masks and laughed as he went into Oprah mode, “You get a Gary. You get a Gary!” With a junior stew under each arm, he told Mads Herrera and Lucy Edmunds , “There’s enough Gary for everyone tonight.”

Daisy shot back, “Why don’t we drink every time you f*** another stewardess?” Ouch. That was a little passive -aggressive.

“Daisy,” Gary said a few minutes later, “can I ask a favor? Just because it’s my birthday, tonight you have to be nice to me.” Even though she insisted she’s “always nice” to him, she does seem to love to bring him down a peg in front of everyone on the regular. Gary asked her not to “shove me under the bus tonight,” and she agreed to be nice.

Less Chase is a great plan

“I’m not the smartest guy in the world,” deckhand Chase Lemacks stated the obvious. “But tonight I’m trying my best not to offend anybody.” So no more asking Lucy if you can shoot tequila between her boobies then? Limiting the alcohol consumption is your best chance there, buddy.

So Chase decided, “Number one goal is [to] just drink less, shout less and just be less.” Sounds like a great plan.

At dinner, Chase went a little over the top trying to win his way back into the ladies’ good graces. “Can I just say,” he announced, “I have never been to dinner with better-looking ladies in my life.” Aww, Chase, they loved it.

But then he had to add, “Cheers to the mistakes I regret already,” causing Lucy to squint her eyes at him with suspicion.

Back to the boat

Drunken hijinks continued as per usual for a night off. Deckhand Alex Propson got way too intoxicated and tried to eat his phone. Daisy and Gary made up and hugged it out. Mads caught them mid-hug and decided it wasn’t worth getting jealous, since she and Gary are in a “casual” relationship and he’s not really her boyfriend.

While Gary and Mads once again sneaked off to have sex in the privacy of a guest cabin, Daisy paid a call to Colin in the boys’ cabin. “Come sleep with me,” she told him, but he convinced her to just lie down with him for a second. “I just want you sleeping with me,” Daisy said.

“I’ve never had an experience like I [have] with Colin,” Daisy interviewed. “We’re friends more than anything, but I could easily see us falling into a relationship because he makes me feel secure. He’s kind, loyal and like, who doesn’t love kisses and cuddles?”

A day at the beach

The next morning, Captain Glenn sent his crew off to the beach club for some well-deserved R&R. “Let’s get this party started,” Chef Ileisha Dell said. “On charter, we’re all just like, go, go, go. So I’m super excited just to unwind and actually chat to everyone and be friends.”

Alex wished that Glenn could be there with them all, “but otherwise it’s perfect.” Cue footage of Glenn playing with one of the e-foils on the water. He did pretty well, too, until he wiped out spectacularly. Is that safe for him to do by himself when there’s no one around to rescue him? Safety first, Glenn.

For some reason, drunk Colin told Ileisha that the chef they had last year was way better than her. Really, Colin? Ileisha, feelings hurt, went off to the ladies’ room to cry. Amazingly, Chase was the voice of wisdom, telling Colin, “When a woman asks you how she compares with someone else, you say, ‘You’re the best.'”

“So I should just lie through my teeth?” Colin asks.

“Yes!” Chase said. Oh, Colin. You’re losing major points here, honey. Be kind.

“I should have done that,” the engineer finally admitted with a laugh, while Ileisha was still crying in the bathroom. Poor Cheffie.

Colin and Mads get a little jealous of Gary and Daisy

Drunk Gary was admiring Daisy’s bikini-clad body, telling her she had a “model body” and dancing close with her, while Colin watched. Colin was a little annoyed.

“Really?” he interviewed. “Gary and Daisy have always been flirty, but there’s a certain amount of respect and consideration you can have for someone that you’re hooking up with. It’s a very confusing little situation, this one.” It is for all of us, Colin.

Also annoyed? Mads. “I didn’t take him seriously before, [and] I’m still not,” she told Lucy. “Look at his personality, look what he’s doing,” as Gary was motorboating Daisy’s cleavage. Ugh. Not a great look in public under any circumstances.

“But I can’t f***ing talk to Alex … without it being an issue,” Mads continued. “I’m not gonna give serious emotions to someone that’s not serious with me.”

Meanwhile, Gary had his head in Daisy’s lap and was begging her for a kiss. Even though Daisy knew Colin was the “healthier” choice, she still can’t shake the attraction for Gary. Better make up your mind soon, Daisy, cause Colin is not enjoying watching you and Gary canoodling.

At the end of the day, Daisy and Colin cuddled together in the water and shared a lingering kiss right next to Gary. The First Mate was not okay with it, though, and quickly exited the area saying, “Whoa, bye-eeee. That is ridiculous.” Really, Gary? And motorboating Daisy in front of Colin is okay?

Gary acts out

At dinner, Mads sat with Alex, rather than Gary, calling the deckhand “babe.” Gary didn’t like that and retaliated by pulling Daisy in for a big kiss. Colin was sitting on the other side of her at the time. “Gary, don’t,” she warned him.

“I know deep down you love me,” Gary answered. “I think we need to be together. But clearly, that’s not gonna happen now.”

“You hooked up with Mads the first night,” Daisy told him. “You have shown me your behavior. You’ve shown me what I meant to you.”

Daisy didn’t want to be “just another one of his 10 million girlfriends.”

“I know you like Colin as a mate,” Gary persisted, “but I know you actually have feelings for me. Think about it from my perspective.” While you’re having sex with Mads in a guest cabin, Gary? Get real.

Gary accused her of avoiding him by hooking up with Colin. “I don’t want to be with you,” Daisy told him, “because you want to be with everybody else. You f***ing could have had me a million times over, and you didn’t want me. Now that you can’t have me, now you f***ing want me. I’m not playing into this f***ing bullsh*t game.”

The truth about Gary and Daisy is revealed

Finally, the truth came out. “Having sex with you was f***ing amazing,” Gary blurted out, as Daisy tried to shush him.

“Gary and I slept together when the season ended last year in Menorca,” Daisy admitted in an interview. “And we also slept together when we went to Disneyland. After that, you know, he still did his usual Gary thing, went from female to female. He never tried to make it anything more. I just wanted this thing to be between Gary and me. Private.”

Daisy urged Gary to move on. “You’re with Mads, I’m with Colin. I really like Colin. I feel a lot for him. It is what it is.”

Dinner completed, everyone returned to the Parsifal III. Their fabulous day off was over.

Back on the boat, the crew settled in for the night. Mads concluded, “I don’t want anyone’s feelings hurt on the boat, but Alex is a grown-ass man. And with Gary, I’m getting a grown toddler boy. I really did not play my cards right.”

Alex may be a “grown-ass man,” but he’s a total asshole. After not so romantically telling Mads, “I’d totally smash you,” he shoved roughly past her standing next to the bar. “Move,” he told her, “Just f***ing move.” Nice.

“So, are you coming upstairs or what?” he petulantly asked her. Wow. The selection of men on this boat is really sad. You have a grown toddler boy (Gary), an obnoxious drunk (Chase) and an even more drunken asshole who’s really hot, but who probably won’t remember a thing in the morning (Alex). Stick with Colin, Daisy. He’s the best of the litter.

“I’m hammered,” Alex admitted, walking up the stairs. Nope, won’t remember a thing.

When she walked through the crew cabin area, Gary grabbed Mads and asked, “Are you coming into my bed?” So she ended up in Gary’s bunk, while Alex fell asleep all alone on deck.

Musical beds

Lucy decided to sleep in the boys’ cabin. Though Gary and Mads told her they had “lots of room” in Gary’s bunk, she curled up in Colin’s bed, thinking he’d be in with Daisy. When Colin came in and found Lucy in his bed, he joked, “What a pleasant surprise!”

After much confusion over who was sleeping where, Colin headed off to the now-abandoned girls’ cabin to share with Daisy. “I need earplugs,” he joked, referencing Daisy’s terrible snoring. He went to the engine room and came back with giant ear protectors. “I don’t know what else to do.”

At last, while snuggling in bed with Colin, Daisy made the choice to come clean. “I want to be honest with you, but I also want to be private,” she told him. “With Gary, it’s something very, very complicated. We have slept together.”

“You guys have slept together?” Colin asked.

“In LA,” she admitted. “And in Menorca.”

“You f***ed Gary?” Colin said, seemingly in disbelief.

“Are you mad that we slept together?”

Colin was confused, “Just ’cause I was led to believe there was nothing going on between you two.”

“I asked him not to tell anyone, and he respected that. Please don’t be mad at him.”

“Why would you lie to me about that?” Colin decided to return to his own cabin. “I just need to figure this out. You f***ed him twice! I just feel f***ing stupid.”

Even though Daisy begged him to stay, Colin returned to his own cabin. We’ll find out soon how things went, as tonight is a double episode. Stay tuned!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo and is available on Peacock the following day.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Seaon 5 trailer teases a Daisy romance, less Gary, no Colin, major firing, and more

Finally, after months of waiting for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 news, we have it, and it’s good.

Bravo released the highly anticipated trailer for the sailing show, along with a premiere date.

There’s so much to unpack in the first-look footage that it left us feeling like Season 5 just might be even more jaw-dropping than Season 4.

The last season fractured the friendships of Daisy Kelliher , Gary King, and Colin MacRae, who all helped make Below Deck Sailing Yacht a mega-hit show.

Colin isn’t back for another season, but Gary and Daisy are, with the past season impacting their working environment.

Aside from the Gary and Daisy drama, we see Captain Glenn Shephard, like never before, losing his s**t on the crew more than once for very good reasons.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 trailer

Daisy is the focal point of the trailer, as it seems the powers that be are making her the star in the aftermath of the sexual misconduct scandal allegations against Gary.

The chief stew finds herself hooking up with a deckhand that could be more than just a boatmance.

It seems that the new chef is going to be a major problem on Season 5. Daisy and the chef butt heads when she refuses to serve his food because, well, it looks like crap.

The party vibe of Ibiza brings many challenges for Captain Glenn and his crew. Not only with unruly guests but also the crew crossing the line by partying with guests.

Captain Glenn sets ground rules for the crew, which are ignored, leading to him unleashing his fury on them. The captain even wakes up the crew at one point after a disastrous crew night out.

Other teasers include another near-boat crash for Parsifal III that makes it seem like Gary may be the one who saves the day. Speaking of Gary, he’s in the trailer, but there’s definitely less of him, and not a single Gary hook-up is featured.

What is featured is a fire, a bloody nose, plenty of drunk falls, and Captain Glenn firing someone. The way it’s set up, too, the teaser definitely wants us to think Captain Glenn fires Daisy or Gary.

When does Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premiere?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans will have to tune into Season 5 to find out who Captain Glenn fires, as well as if Daisy what happens with Daisy’s budding romance.

The good news is that the sailing show is back in less than a month. Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c.

Below Deck Med Season 9 wraps on Monday, September 23, which means we are either getting a reunion or a Captain Sandy Yawn wedding special on Monday, September 30.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King’s Sexual Misconduct Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is coming back for season 5 after Gary King’s sexual misconduct scandal.

Bravo announced on Monday, September 16, that the next season reunites Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary as they spend their charter season in Ibiza. The rest of the cast includes chef Cloyce Martin , chef engineer Davide Morosi , stews Diana Cruz , Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch .

The upcoming installment comes more than one year after Below Deck Sailing Yacht wrapped up its fourth season on Bravo in July 2023.

Gary’s future as a cast member has been up in the air, however, since a production assistant from the show accused him of making unwanted advances while filming season 4.

In a Rolling Stone exposé, which was published in October 2023, Samantha Suarez and other former employees, who asked to remain anonymous, accused Bravo of allegedly helping cover up Gary’s inappropriate behavior.

“It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times,” one of the accusers alleged. “I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable and exciting.”

Samantha recalled being asked to look after Gary when he allegedly got drunk. Once filming wrapped, Samantha remained with Gary in his hotel room before he tried to stop her from leaving by pressing himself against her. Samantha alleged that Gary refused to let her leave until she started to fight back.

According to Samantha, she alerted producers about the incident , who told Gary to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn’t filming as a way to keep him out of the hotel.

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone , saying, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim. “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down,” he replied to a fan via Instagram one month later.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Spoilers: Gary, Colin, And Daisy In Love Triangle!

  • 0 Pinterest

Below Deck Sailing Yacht has become one of the most popular Below Deck spin-offs. And one reason stems from returning cast members Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacRae, and Gary King. But Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 spoilers show a sea change in the trio’s relationship.

Last season hinted at the potential of a romance between Daisy and Gary. And Colin took on the role of the show’s voice of reason. However, as revealed below, season four will see those relationships transform into a love triangle.

Below Deck Sailing – Yacht Spoilers – Season 4 Sets Sail!

Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht debuted on April 10, 2023. And the show’s first mate, Gary King, already admits to regrets. As a result of Gary’s romantic attempts with chief stew Daisy Kelliher failing in season 3,  the new season will see Daisy get involved in a romance with chief engineer Colin MacRae, according to Yahoo .

Because Gary and Colin enjoyed a strong friendship, the first mate tries not to feel angry at his pal. And he mused on the reasons for the love triangle. “Maybe Colin’s just a better person than I am,” confessed Gary. And the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star added, “Maybe Daisy sees something more in him that she sees in me.”

However, rather than try to woo back Daisy, Gary wants to stay “supportive. They’re both good friends of mine,” added the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star. “But it did come as a massive shock to me.”

Below Deck Sailing – Yacht Spoilers – Love Triangle Stuns Gary!

And Gary went into detail about how the love triangle shocked him. Because Colin “had a girlfriend in the previous seasons,” Gary didn’t anticipate what would happen when his pal became “a single man.” However, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star still insists, “Daisy and I have always had a connection.”

As a result, despite claiming to feel supportive, Gary admitted he feels stunned at Daisy and Colin’s romance. And he called it a “complete surprise to me.” But Gary apparently reviewed the first few seasons. And he shared, “Now looking back at it, I’ve noticed a few things from season 1 and season 2 which kind of gave me the idea it could happen.”

However, Gary predicted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans will divide over Daisy picking Colin over Gary. “I think viewers are going to be divided, as they will be picking sides,” he shared. And he admitted that he dislikes that situation. “Because I don’t think anyone should be forced to pick sides,” explained Gary. “But how the season plays out, people will be picking sides.” However, he added, “We are still good friends. And that’s all that matters in the long run.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Episode 12 Recap: Small ‘D’ Energy

When last we left Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher had just revealed to Engineer Colin MacRae that she and First Mate Gary King had slept together .

Colin had said, “My heart’s telling me, live in the moment and enjoy what you and Daisy have, but my brain’s telling me, just stay out of it. It’s got trouble written all over it.” And he was still upset that Gary had lied to him.

“The last thing I want,” Daisy admitted to Colin, “is anyone to be hurt or friendships to be affected.”

“You don’t often hear Daisy say sorry or admit that she’s done something wrong,” Colin interviewed. “So I know Daisy cares about me because she feels remorse. It’s just a hard pill to swallow. I have true feelings involved.”

To Daisy, Colin said, “I’ll be fine.” And they parted with a hug and a smile.

Alex and Mads admire fish on the night shift

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

Deckhand Alex Propson was on the night shift again. Rather than doing his job, he was hanging out with Junior Stew Madison “Mads” Herrera , looking at fish in the water next to the boat.

“See these big fish?” he told Mads. “They’re trying to eat this school of fish. See all the little ones swimming?”

“Wow!” she said. “You have a whole aquarium show.”

Alex admitted he was “nerd[ing] out on this stuff.”

“Don’t get me wrong,” he told production, “I love working, but I would rather hang out with Mads. I consider this work-life balance.”

“I might get in there with a snorkel,” he told Mads. “Anchor’s not going anywhere.” Um, I wouldn’t recommend it, Alex. Didn’t Captain Lee throw a guest off his boat for going swimming at night ? It’s not safe.

Chase throws Alex under the bus boat

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

At the end of his shift, Alex declared everything “done” and headed off to bed. When Captain Glenn Shephard got up, he made a quick inspection of the boat and decided everything was, in fact, not done.

“Can you do the scuppers forward on the flybridge, right in front of the wheel?” Glenn asked the other deckhand Chase Lemacks . “Should’ve been done last night. I don’t know why it wasn’t.” Because Alex spent more time looking at fish with Mads than doing his job, that’s why.

Getting dressed for the day, Gary commented, “I’ve never lost a friendship over a woman before. If [Colin’s] willing to throw our friendship away over this, then clearly I don’t mean that much to him.”

Meanwhile, Chase made a quick survey of the deck area and declared it, “Filthy.”

“Gary,” Chase called when the First Mate appeared on deck. “Come and take a look at something. Look under this table. That’s how the whole boat looked.”

“It wouldn’t bother me,” Chase added. “It’s just that Glenn comes to me, and he’s like, ‘The scuppers should be done by now.'”

Even though Alex said the guests didn’t go to bed until 2:30, he still should have had time to do the necessary cleaning after they went below. “It wouldn’t take longer than an hour and a half to give a thorough rinse to this boat,” Gary said.

“If I only had a few hours to clean,” Chase interviewed, “I’d focus on the obvious sh*t, like picking up crumbs of food off of the floor. I’m a little pissed off, because at this point in the season, Alex should know better. Gary should have told him what to prioritize by now.” I see another conversation with the First Mate in Alex’s future.

Colin and Daisy are friends again

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

Daisy went into the engine room to say good morning to Colin. “Thanks for checking on me [last night],” he told her. “It’s a big thing. We’re moving in the right direction.” At least he was smiling again, as he gave her a big hug.

As Daisy was serving their last breakfast to the guests, one of the men asked, “Can we just charter for one more day?”

“I would love for you guys to stay,” Daisy lied, ’cause you know she was looking forward to their night out. “It is [Junior Stew Lucy Edmunds’ ] university graduation, so we’re going to have a party for her tonight.”

Even though she passed her courses and was officially graduating, Lucy was a bit sad not to walk with her friends at the ceremony. “I might not be at my graduation, but that’s the life of yachting. I know I signed up for the job at the end of the day, so I can’t be upset.”

“I’m ready for tonight,” Lucy added. “I just want to have some shots and get drunk.” She’d better remember to put that safety shield up to keep her from falling out of her top bunk again!

“It’s your graduation!” Gary sang to Lucy, as he passed her in the hallway.

“Yep,” Lucy responded. “And I’m here washing dishes. Whatever, I’m okay.”

Goodbye to the guests

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

After docking the boat once more, everyone gathered to say goodbye to the guests. Overall, this was a nice charter with pleasant guests.

“It was amazing,” the primary guest told them. “And from the bottom of my heart, I just want to thank each and every one of you. [Chef Ileisha Dell ], with you taking the time to make the Johnny cakes, it brought me back to my beloved Grandma Flo, who I know is in Heaven, just smiling down. Thank you, everyone!”

“And as a small token of our appreciation,” she added, handing a fat envelope to Captain Glenn. “Best yachting crew ever!”

Chase and Alex butt heads over the cleaning

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

As the crew returned to work, Alex joked with Gary, “Tell me how great I am!”

But Gary had bad news for Alex. “Chase was not happy this morning,” Gary told him.

“Were you upset with the boat this morning?” Alex asked Chase when he joined them on deck.

“It wasn’t the best,” Chase responded.

In a production interview, Chase complained, “F*ck me, man. I didn’t expect Gary to run to Alex and be like, ‘Hey, Chase said you suck.’ I mean, come on.” Chase, buddy, it’s Gary. This is exactly what he does. What did you expect?

“What part looked bad?” Alex asked.

“Food all over the sundeck floor,” he said. “[But] like I told Gary, you had like three hours max [since the guests stayed up late and got up early]. I said it’s not like I could be really upset with you.”

“Suck it up, buttercup,” Gary added.

Again, in an interview, Chase said, “It’s pissing me off that Gary’s making me look like a tattle-tailing bitch.” But isn’t that pretty much what you did, Chase? Just suck it up and tell him the captain called you out.

“It’s not like me being mad,” Chase explained. “It’s just prioritization of, like, where they’re gonna get up and sit [for breakfast] is spotless, you know what I mean? … just like advice.”

“Advice taken,” Alex grudgingly conceded. But he was still feeling resentful that Chase had ratted him out.

“I shouldn’t have to hear from Gary the way that Chase feels,” Alex complained in an interview. “Any time that I feel there’s a conflict, I tend to just talk to the person about it, and I would expect Chase and our head of department to do the same. But I think I’m just dealing with a lot of small dick energy.” Okay, then. Alex would rather blame his co-workers’ penis size than the fact that he was fish-watching with Mads instead of working. Good call, Alex.

Show me the money

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

“What a fun charter group that was,” Captain Glenn said when he gathered the crew for the tip meeting. “I thought the service was really good, so I just want to say kudos for that. Ileisha, that Caribbean dinner, they were raving about it. Well done.”

After encouraging everyone to keep their “foot [on the] pedal,” Glenn announced the tip was $20,000 US, breaking down to $1,957 euros each.

Later in the galley, Chase was waiting for Ileisha to finish up so she could go sit in the “cold tub” with him. Chase has a little crush on Cheffie.

“Chase is a sweetheart,” Ileisha interviewed. “He’s good-looking, he’s tall, he’s got a good body, but my boyfriend has all of those things as well. It’s always tough to do long distance, but, no, I’m pretty loyal.” Quickly correctly herself, she added, “‘Pretty?’ I mean, I am loyal.”

Daisy checked in with Gary. “How are you and Colin?”

“I don’t know,” Gary admitted. It seemed that Colin had been avoiding Gary since he found out that he and Daisy had slept together.

“I was thinking of having a chat with you both,” Daisy suggested.

“Oh really?” Gary asked in surprise. “No. We don’t need to do that. No, no, no, no. I think it’ll blow over.”

A grad party for Lucy

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

Since Lucy was feeling sad because she was missing her graduation ceremony, Daisy and the crew set up a party for her, and even had her family on Facetime to join in the celebration. They had a congratulatory sign, balloons and even a cap and gown for the junior stew.

“This is the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me,” Lucy said. “I have my family there, my 91-year-old granddad and my gran. This is going to be so special to me, my whole life.”

“All right, I’m gonna get pissed [drunk],” she told her family. “Love you!” Time to head out for dinner.

Daisy tries to force a truce

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

When the cabs arrived, Daisy announced, “Me, Colin and Gary in one cab. Everybody else in another.” Guess she’s going ahead with that chat after all.

When they were secluded inside the cab, boys in the back, Daisy in front, she said, “I thought it might be nice to spend some time together, and I just think we’ve kind of lost a bit of focus as we’re in this together and just want to remind us that we’re…”

“We’re a team,” Gary finished, even though he and Colin were avoiding making eye contact. “How do you feel, Colin?”

“This is a massive stitch-up,” Colin answered.

“I wanted time with my f*cking boys in the f*cking car,” Daisy told them, “and this was my time to do it.”

“I don’t think the crew night out is the right time,” Colin sang.

“I’m done,” Gary said.

In an interview, he added, “This van ride is awkward! Honestly, I don’t like having conflict with anyone, I’m not good with confrontation.”

Gary and Colin finally talk one-on-one

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

Finally, at dinner, Gary told Colin, “Let’s go for a cigarette, you and I. Colin, you and I need to chat.”

“Oh, here we go,” Colin muttered.

“Okay, Colin, I’m gonna be honest with you,” Gary began. “I’m sorry I lied to you … but it was a catch-22 for me.”

“You’re a pussy,” Colin snapped back. “You should have f*cking just said the truth.”

But he’d made a promise to Daisy to keep it a secret, he reminded Colin.

“You should have said to Daisy,” Colin continued, “Hey, seeing that you and Colin are now hooking up…”

“Hindsight is a beautiful thing,” Gary went on. “I do realize that, and I’m sorry I lied to you in your face.”

“I would never have done that to you,” Colin said. “And that’s why I got hurt by our friendship.”

“I understand that,” Gary admitted. “Do I feel like a puss for lying to you? Yes. Is there anything happening between us? No. That’s the bottom line.”

“He hasn’t really respected mine and Daisy’s relationship,” Colin interviewed, “and it’s unfortunate. But I have to take everything he says with a pinch of salt. And I don’t know what to believe.”

“Listen, I’ve been a dick for the majority of my life,” Gary told Colin. “If I can keep one person’s promise, then let me show them that I can keep a promise. And then I lied to another friend about it … It was a lose-lose situation for me.”

Seeing that Colin and Gary were finally talking to each other, Daisy was relieved. “I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders,” she told production. “I am so relieved Gary and Colin are speaking to each other and … just move forward.”

Another drunken night in paradise

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

When they returned to the Parsifal III, Gary and Lucy decided to take off their clothes and jump into the water next to the boat. “Sorry, Mum and Dad,” Lucy told production.

Now that things had been talked out, Colin and Daisy were back in his bunk, making out. Yay! I’m glad they’re still together. I’m stanning this relationship so hard.

Gary pissed off Mads by calling her “pathetic” when she ignored him because she was talking to her family on the phone.

Alex was once again incoherently inebriated. You want to sleep with that, Mads? He can’t even hold his head up, let alone try to have sex with someone. Ugh. So not attractive.

Chase was frustrated because try as he might, Ileisha has him firmly in the friend zone. Dude, she has a boyfriend and she isn’t going to cheat on him with you. You’re not that special. Give it a rest.

At 3:00 am, Daisy woke out of a sound sleep and thought Colin was Gary. “Gary, stop. Why are you in my bed?” she asked him. “It’s f*cked up.”

This did not go over well with Colin. “I’ve never, ever been mistaken for someone else in bed,” he complained. Oh, my God!”

“I’m not gonna lie,” Daisy told Colin. “I kept seeing Gary’s face.” Uh oh. That’s not good. Is she drunk? Is she still asleep?

“It’s a blow to the ego,” Colin interviewed. “I mean, maybe she’s actually thinking about him when we’re fooling around. I don’t know.”

“Bye,” Colin told the chief stew. And with that, Daisy returned to her own bunk in the girls’ cabin.

The morning after the night before

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

The next morning, Chase informed Gary that he called Mads “pathetic” the night before. Gary had absolutely no memory of having done that. He admitted to Mads that he didn’t remember anything about it and apologized to her, but she refused to accept his apology.

In the laundry room, Gary asked Daisy, “Did you and Colin hook up last night?” Dude, is that really any of your business? Why would you even ask that?

“We kissed,” Daisy admitted.

“Just a kiss?” Gary confirmed. “Just wondering.” Don’t wonder, Gary. If you want to be friends with Colin, just stay out of their business.

Running into Colin in the crew mess, Daisy told him, “When you have time, can I show you stuff in the guest area, please?”

“I’m not talking to you anymore,” Colin told her.

“Why are you not talking to me?” Daisy asked, shocked. Apparently, she didn’t remember mistaking him for Gary the night before. So she was either drunk or talking in her sleep. Oh, the drama!

Finally, Colin admitted, “I’m pissed off at you.”

“Why? What did I do?” Daisy asked.

“What you said last night in bed,” he told her.

“Oh, yeah,” Daisy remembered. “I thought you were Gary because the two of you were in my head. You’re both f*cking with my head.”

“This is unbelievable that you’re giving me this attitude, after saying something like that in bed with me,” Colin said, as Daisy tried to playfully wrestle with him. “Are you crazy?”

“I’m not thinking about [Gary],” Daisy explained. “I was like, where the f*ck am I? I didn’t know where I was.”

“You’re blaming literally everyone and everything else for what comes out of your mouth,” Colin accused her. “You need to take accountability.” That’s a little harsh, Colin. She was sound asleep and woke up confused about where she was and with whom.

Chase and Alex have a heart-to-heart

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

“I want to talk to you about something actually,” Chase told Alex, while they were working on deck. “I want you to know that there’s been two days where, like, I gave feedback about, like, the night thing. The first time it happened, I asked Gary, ‘Can I just talk to Alex on my own?’ … And Gary was like, no, I want to have that conversation.”

Chase was concerned that Gary was making it look like he was trying to be a tattletale and get Alex in trouble. “Going forward,” Chase said, “I’m going to try to include him as little as possible.”

“It might be better if we cut out the middleman,” Alex said.

Alex interviewed, “We don’t need Gary. The only reason there’s tension between me and Chase is because Gary is mucking up the communication chain.” From now on, they would just talk directly to each other and leave Gary out of the loop.

Colin wants Daisy to choose

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

“Colin, I’m sorry,” Daisy told the chief engineer.

“You’ve got to figure some stuff out,” he told her.

“I don’t,” she insisted. “It was all Gary f*cking this.”

“Don’t blame Gary,” Colin told her. “What I want is for you to figure out what you want.”

“I want you,” she told him. “I thought I made that very clear.”

“If you want someone,” Colin continued, “you’re not thinking about other people.”

Daisy explained that she was not thinking about Gary, but thinking about her two friends and the mess she was involved in. “If you want me and I want you,” she told Colin, “that’s the end of it.” And he agreed.

Charter #7 guests arrive

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

While waiting for the new charter guests to arrive, Glenn gave his crew a quick pep talk about pushing through the rest of the season. “So we’re coming into the home stretch,” he told them. “So let’s stay positive.”

The new guests arrived and everyone was greeted with the customary glass of champagne. When Daisy presented a tray of oysters with gin, jalapeño and lime to the only male guest, he told her, “Oh, my God. I thought I loved you. And now I’m just, like, marrying you.” Cute.

As the guests were settling in with their drinks and marveling at the scenery, the anchor was dropped and the engines turned off. But shortly afterward, Gary noticed that the anchor seemed to be dragging, and they were drifting perilously close to another boat nearby.

As the deck crew readied fenders and the guests wondered if they were going to start their vacation with a crash, the dreaded words appeared on the TV screen:

“TO BE CONTINUED … “

TELL US – DO YOU THINK DAISY AND COLIN WILL WORK OUT THEIR ISSUES? OR DO YOU THINK THEY’LL BREAK UP AND DAISY WILL END UP WITH GARY?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is The Office ‘s Unscripted Sister — Here’s Why

When I found myself tuning in to yet another season of another franchise of Below Deck , I had to wonder: Why am I so obsessed with watching people do their jobs, and badly at that?

All roads lead to The Office .

Bravo ‘s Below Deck Sailing Yacht,  which is currently airing Season 4 on Mondays at 8 pm, is simply The Office, if it were unscripted and on speed. It contains all the pillars of the successful workplace comedy: An inappropriate leader who makes off-color jokes (sorry, Captain Glenn, but it’s true); a never-ending assortment of unbelievable HR violations (when you live and work in the same place, things get muddy, fast !); awkward people performing their jobs poorly (there’s always a stew who simply doesn’t understand the hierarchy); and, of course, a couple of token sensible people (Daisy and Glenn are the boat’s Jim and Pam, minus the romance).

With all of that, plus incredibly high stakes as real money is being made, real clients are being served, and real pots of chili are being dropped thanks to unexpected swells, it’s just another iteration of everyone’s favorite NBC comedy!

But Below Deck even goes a step further: It uses the workplace comedy genre as a blueprint, before completely transforming it. Here, the actual workplace is not only a container for comedy; the workplace is the comedy, as the space inhabited by the cast becomes a character itself.

'The Office' and 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht'

Another layer? These employees never get to go home. Though we don’t often see The Office characters outside of Dunder Mifflin/related events, we know they are not trapped in the workplace. They theoretically have lives beyond our screens that add texture to their characters. On Below Deck , however, employees are constantly on the clock, sleeping in tight quarters and receiving wake-up calls from engine alarms or radio commands at any given moment. (Imagine getting a season-long slumber party between Michael and Dwight. What kind of storylines could have been invented if the two were forced to sleep on top of the printers after each day’s end? Whatever you’re picturing, know that’s what Below Deck promises and delivers season after season.)

So, if you liked The Office , it’s time to give its unofficial unscripted sister a watch.

How do you think Below Deck compares to your favorite workplace comedy? Let us know in the comments!

You should send this review to the WGA. I’m sure they’ll love to hear all the hard work put forth by their writers can be equaled by reality garbage.

So far the crew are doing great considering the ship can’t sail & the first group of people had an actual Karen on board.

I have watched all seasons of every Below Deck. Season 4 Below Deck Sailing Yacht is the most uninteresting season of all. The crew has been childish and they act unprofessional. The episodes are boring. Gary and Daisy and Colin act juvenile. You just may have run your course on the Sailing Yacht if these crew members return. Every other Below Deck held my attention and was fun. This season 4 I turn off halfway through. Sorry but any cache the show has had in the past has dissolved.

Somebody needs to kick the living sh– out of Gary.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap: Down Bad

Below deck sailing yacht.

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

Now that we’re done with charter three, it’s time for the crew to drown their sorrows in booze during their night out, which is obnoxiously annoying yet still the most entertaining part of the episode.

We open with everyone having beers out on the deck, where Daisy talks to Gary about having a difficult charter and that “when I tried to go stand up for myself, Colin fucking completely turns back around on me.” She then tells us that she’s “never been this angry with Colin before” and that he needs to “shut the fuck up and know his place.” Agreed. I get that Colin was trying to spin this into a team thing, but his comment during the tip meeting resulted from Daisy’s emotional reaction to Captain Glenn’s feedback.

While everyone prepares for dinner, Gary and Colin discuss the Daisy situation and Mads. Colin asks Gary if he likes Mads, and Gary says that if he’s going to kiss someone tonight, it will be her. In a confessional, he says he never expected to hook up with Mads but is now “quite happy.” A producer then asks, “Do you care if Daisy knows?” He says no because she and Alex hooked up, which is stupid.

Daisy and Colin then share awkward tension after bumping into each other, and this dynamic remains the heart of the episode. Captain Glenn drives the crew to their destination, a restaurant called Deste, where they’re told about the “Sardinian experience” they’re embarking on. Chase calls the waiters 006 and 005, and when they place napkins on the table using tweezers, Chase says, “Oooh, so fancy” in an annoying voice that makes Lucy (and me) cringe. As if he hadn’t already been on everyone’s nerves, he says, “All right, ladies, take note of what these guys are doing.” Lucy, fuming, tells us that “Chase making shit jokes about my fucking job” is the last thing she needs. Lucy continues to climb the ranks of my favorite  Below Deck  stews.

When Lucy asks Colin to put the d-board up on her bed during dinner, he says he’ll “put it on the fucking jobs list,” and Daisy says, “as long as you do something,” which sparks a back-and-forth between them. Colin’s like, “Daisy wants to have a fight with me,” and Daisy says, “Somebody’s in the firing line, might as well be you.” In his confessional, Colin says he doesn’t want to fight with anyone, but “I’m not gonna be made to feel bad about giving my opinion.” I’m kind of here for this enemies-to-lovers arc.

Meanwhile, in Mads/Gary/Alex news, Mads makes a toast dedicated to her friends, family, and “me and you,” directed at Alex, as Gary watches. “I didn’t realize I was a jealous person until tonight,” he tells Ileisha. Hmm, sure, let’s not forget you just told Daisy you were jealous of her and Alex.

Side note: Now that Colin is single, is Ileisha taking his place as the person who most enjoys watching everyone else’s drama unfold?

While the girls are in the bathroom, Mads wonders why she’s always left with the guys, which prompts Gary to tell her in Italian, “I see you. You play with people. I don’t want to play.” And she tells him he does the same. Ding ding ding! They start walking together and Gary tells her, “Don’t kiss me one night and flirt with someone else.” Why does he think he has any say over what Mads does, especially when he does the exact same?

Everyone packs into sprinter vans, and Lucy asks Mads what happened, and she says that Gary’s “pissing me off.” More importantly, we get a new installment of “Fuck, Marry, Kill: Crew Members Edition.” Mads says she’d fuck Alex, marry Colin, and kill Chase, which is the correct answer. Daisy says she’d fuck Alex, marry Gary, and kill Colin “’cause I’m super fucking mad at him.”

Back on the boat, Daisy joins Gary and Colin at the bar, and Colin walks away, so Daisy tells him to “fuck yourself.” Chase, who tells us he’s here to “vibe” and not argue or whatever, decides that the crew should play Twister , so everyone has fun with it for a while before falling back into familiar habits.

Gary, who is tremendously down bad, pulls Mads for a chat and tells her he isn’t “here to play games” before getting cut off by Alex, after which he says, “There we go. Precisely. Point proven.” I like seeing Gary not feel like the top guy for once, but it doesn’t matter because Mads hooks up with him again anyway, which I wish I could unsee. She tells us, though, “As much as I wish Alex were to make a move, he hasn’t. And, um, I’m a little horny!”

The next morning, Daisy wakes up with a “raging headache,” and Mads reveals to Daisy that she and Gary hooked up in a regretful tone, which Daisy says is “not a bad thing.” Since it’s the day between charters, everyone’s cleaning the boat, meaning not much happens. Later in the laundry room, Daisy asks Gary to spill on his thing with Mads and asks if he slept with her, and when he says no, she says she knows there’s more to the story and asks why he kept it a secret from her. In a confessional, he says it’s because she “tries her hardest to cock-block me.” “She doesn’t want me, and she doesn’t want anyone else to have me,” he adds. It’s hilarious that he’s acting this way just because she and Alex kissed.

At the preference-sheet meeting, we learn our next charter will host returning guests Jim Blumenthal, a.k.a. the guy with the alter ego “Big Jim” who made the crew put on a talent show last season. This time around, they’ve yet again requested that the crew take part in a talent show, which likely means more stress for Daisy. I don’t understand the need to make yacht crews put on this type of “entertainment.”

After the meeting concludes, Colin and Daisy finally talk. He tells her that she’s “obviously upset at me, and I’ve ended up in your firing line.” She says, “You shut me down, and I know that comment was about me.” Colin maintains that it wasn’t about her, and I call bullshit. They eventually make up, and Colin tells Daisy he didn’t intend to “make [her] feel worse, but [he] did” and apologizes. Daisy tells us she wants them to “always be good with each other.” Same!

Once Jim & Co. arrive, Captain Glenn announces they’ll skip the tour since they’re familiar with the  Parsifal  and jump straight to the sailing. In the meantime, Ileisha makes sliders for them, and I can’t help but wonder: Has she ever served a full lunch yet?

As they’re about to sail, Colin notices smoke emerging from the engine. So much for having a breezy charter! When Colin goes to the engine room, he says that there’s “obviously something fucked up going on in the engine.” After a while, he sees oil dripping from the turbo, eventually determining that the “shaft inside the turbo has completely snapped.” Therefore, they can’t run the engine and are stuck anchored until they find a new one. As if we were relieving the first episode of the season, we get a montage of Captain Glenn desperately texting several parts suppliers, who say it’s unavailable, but he ultimately manages to find one on the tenth attempt.

For dinner, Ileisha plays it safe by serving traditional Sardinian food family-style to avoid Captain Glenn’s negative feedback again. She serves octopus, oregano lemon baked chicken, and local fregola with clams and shrimp, which the guests think is to die for. Captain Glenn, meanwhile, is thrilled that Daisy and Ileisha have “taken onboard everything [he’s] pointed out” and has noticed a “big improvement.” Really? Because this is what they’ve been doing all season.

As the guests head to bed, Alex wakes up for the night shift, where he complains about how the work on superyachts is “counterproductive.” He’s lucky he isn’t doing worse tasks than cleaning! The next morning, Chase is pissed because Alex didn’t clean the boat properly, so he has to take it into his own hands. “This is definitely not the first time I’m picking up the slack for Alex,” he says. True, we’ve seen it occur throughout the season. Chase talks to Gary about it, but Gary has already noticed that the boat “looks like shit” and says he’ll talk with Alex.

The guests requested a morning yoga session, which Chase and Lucy are tasked with leading. Chase takes it way too seriously, starting off with breathing exercises and speeches, while Lucy thinks the guests want to stretch and not have a “master class in yoga.” As Chase does all the poses, Lucy just laughs and tells us that he’s “cringing me out.” Same. Why couldn’t they have hired a yoga instructor for this?

The episode concludes with a dramatic moment of Captain Glenn doing an engine test run and telling us that it’s normal for smoke to appear but that the part only works if the smoke eventually stops. The new turbo unsurprisingly works, and Captain Glenn immediately takes the guests sailing to make up for the previous day. The  Parsifal  and its crew live to see another day!

Below Deck Med’s soul-sucking boat drifts toward its finale

Two people talk; one holds duct tape and shiny fabric and has a horrified look on her face

It’s the last charter on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9: yes, we’re on the penultimate episode, also known as the episode where absolutely nothing happens because the editors are saving everything good for next week’s finale.

With Below Deck Med ending, Bravo just announced the next in the franchise: Below Deck Sailing Yacht will return. Bravo’s press release mentions the return of Captain Glenn, Daisy, and Gary (ugh), though the preview that ran during the commercials excluded Gary entirely. Is that because of what reportedly happened during season four ?

Alas, Gary is in this extended trailer . I just don’t know if I can take a season of that fucking guy, so I hope it minimizes him and/or he falls overboard and has to swim to shore, because the rest looks fun, from a naked person falling on Glenn to Drag Race alum Detox on board as a guest. That starts Oct. 7.

Today, we’re starting the last charter, with guest Stacey Jennings his husband Brad Driver, who you may remember from Below Deck Down Under . I barely did; I barely will. Is it too much to ask for some drunk guests to throw a chair in the water or something?

First, though, Gael recovers from her breakdown about Nathan planning to have Joe visit him. “I’m okay. I just had a moment of weakness,” Gael said, trying to smile so hard I thought her head might actually pop.

“Go and have cuddles,” Aesha said, putting Gael in Nathan’s bed. Nathan asked her what’s wrong and she said “nothing.” Ah, communication. This relationship is going to last, what, one or two days beyond this season?

Later, Gael told Nathan, “I still don’t really know you,” and he said “shut up.”

Nathan said, “I love you more and more,” and Gael said, “Okay, just show it.” Then Joe came in and Nathan crawled down in his bunk and showed Gael how much he loves her.

Meanwhile, Joe is still salivating over Carrie, but says, “I don’t even want to go there.” Nathan told us that is “utter bullshit” and said “that is what he does.” Yep, your bro is a fuckboy.

In real love news, Captain Sandy’s girlfriend is on the way to visit and either get engaged or reject Captain Sandy on national TV. Aesha is producing this event, and shares that they all live in Colorado together, hang out, and compare poop, or at least I assume they would if Aesha had her way.

A person talks to another person on a mobile phone

For this Sandy wants just a simple, casual moment, like a flower-lined dock leading to a table where there’s a violinist and “peach tea in a champagne glass,” and all of that has to be flawless. “I just want it to be perfect,” she says, “absolutely perfect.”

Well, okay then, as long as you don’t set impossibly high standards for one five-minute period in your life that will be orchestrated in part by your crew of incompetent dummies. (A preview for next week shows Joe getting a line wrapped up in the tender’s propeller, so that’s exciting.)

Sandy is worried about her mortal enemy, wind. “I hope the weather’s going to be great,” she says.

In the funniest moment, Sandy asks Aesha if she thinks Leah will know what’s happening. Aesha’s like, um, yeah, once she sees the fact that you’ve stage managed the dock so much it looks like a Bachelorette finale.

She’ll probably also know because Sandy is basically spoiling it: “I have a special treat for you tomorrow,” Sandy says, and her girlfriend said, “You and your surprises.” I expected Sandy to be like, You’ll never guess what it is! Definitely not a proposal!! What is your ring size?

The episode’s major drama, if you can call it that, involves Ellie, who’s still quite insecure about Carrie’s presence on the boat. She’s constantly seeking reassurance from Aesha (DO WE DROP CARRIE OFF AT DOCK AND LEAVE HER NOW?) and micromanaging the other stews (PUT BALLOON THERE YOU STUPID COW!).

During their stew meeting, there’s a fleeting moment when Aesha praises Bri for the laundry, which has miraculously not been delivered to the crew of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , and then praised Ellie’s table decorations, and says, “you’re nailing it.”

But then Aesha shares that Carrie is much faster at all the tasks, and Ellie’s face sinks and I think she may have tried to dig her eyes out with her fingers:

A person puts their finger in their eye

Aesha’s so over Ellie that she’s being overtly hostile, which for Aesha equals sarcasm. Ellie is in her cabin when provisions arrive, and when she finally arrives on Deck, Aesha says, “Oh, thanks for coming up right at the end. We finished.”

Ellie tries to help Bri in cabins, and Aesha is like, “No. Just do what I’ve said.” Then she notices Ellie hasn’t wiped down the walls, and calls for Ellie because “there’s finger marks everywhere,” probably from Joe trying to hit on the wood paneling.

But Ellie is dancing in the crew mess and having fun—which, honestly, it’s nice to see Ellie not trying to destroy everyone with laser eyes, but also Aesha is pissed that Ellie’s ignoring her.

Carrie doesn’t mind Ellie bossing her around, noting that it’s “nice to not have a lot of responsibility” after her last job, when “I went from chief stew to caregiver” when the boat’s owner’s wife died. Yikes.

The guests arrive and Iain, awake from a nap, does the shocker and yells “it’s the last charter,” and I was embarrassed for him and everyone in that interview room.

Iain does manage to get the boat out of the dock without ramming it into another boat, prompting one of the gaggle of gays to say “they pulled out clean.” That’s about the level of entertainment these guests bring: gay sex jokes.

Down in the galley, Jono is thrilled for “a group of guests that are all queer” because “I haven’t met many gay or Black people in the industry,” and he makes a valid point about diversity in yachting that I ignored because I was too busy trying to make a joke out of “I haven’t met many…” …other chefs? YouTube recipes that weren’t from someone’s grandma? charter guests who I haven’t killed?

Jono wants to “make sure they’re extra happy,” and thus plans on, and I quote, “flavor flavor okurrr.”

For an example of how much the editors stretched to fill this episode and save the actual content for next week’s finale, they included this actual exchange:

Sandy: “How’s it going?” Jono: “Wonderfully. How are you?” Sandy: “Good.”

Ellie is confused about why the guests want a party themed to “Swedish pop music. We’re in Greece.” But ultimately she doesn’t care, because, as she says, “Table decor at this point is the only thing bringing me any sort of joy on this soul-sucking boat.”

Below deck, Nathan’s in tighty whities showing off his penis to the world while trying to get into costume. Gael asks, “How’s anyone fit this?” She’s apparently talking about the costume, a leotard that seems designed for a child, because it fits about up to Nathan’s mid-torso. Aesha sees him and says, “Well-done. That’s quite large.”

In a joint bro interview, Joe called it “very questionable” and Nathan said, “when me granddad sees me in that, I’ll lose me surname.”

In Iain news, he put the Progress Pride flag up , and hung it correctly. He also asks to go on the excursion to Posideon’s Temple with the guests. Sandy agrees, probably because having her bosun off the boat is safer than having him on it.

Aesha decided to send Bri as a reward for not putting all of their clothes in the trash, or trying to wash their laundry using champagne. Bri was so thrilled that she hugged Aesha through tears.

A person points while other people listen

Iain told us that, “in my role, I find I’m sometimes more behind the scenes, making everything run,” which must be what he’s doing in bed all the time.

“I’ve always been an entertainment kind of person,” he says, and that comes in the form of facts about temple he shares with the guests. Hilariously, Bri tells us, “Iain and I really aren’t the best entertainers on the boat.” Oh, you’re entertaining, just for your incompetence.

Oh, I kid Bri and Iain. Seriously, Iain seems—pretty great with the guests? He’s laughing, they’re having fun, he has facts, they seem interested. I mean, this is just a few moments of screen time, but maybe he’s in the wrong job? The same might be true for Bri, too. She offers the guests ice water instead of, say, motor oil. Impressive!

The trip seems fine and the guests seem happy and there’s just nothing happening. Back on board, Sandy tells Iain, “go and get the drag queens,” and he says, “Joe and Gael will go,” because of course he’ll have others do the work. Joe is somehow not a monstrous dick to Gael on the boat ride, and Gael wonders why he can’t be like that all the time.

Aesha asks Carrie about Ellie, who says, “If I had to do a whole season like this, I’d be really struggling to bite my tongue.” Aesha finally snaps when Ellie starts clearing the table without radioing, I think, and then it’s time for the big confrontation!

“I feel like you have been overstepping as the second,” Aesha tells Ellie, the line we’ve already heard in the preview for the episode and the teasers during the breaks. “The job as the second is to delegate when I’m not around.”

But wait: the credits are starting. What?! “I would never disrespect you like that,” Ellie says, and instead of Aesha, say, firing her, we get a flashback to all of Ellie’s bad second stew behavior, like when she screamed at Bri, “SINCE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW BOATS WORK SECOND STEW OUTRANKS YOU.”

The preview for the finale shows Ellie saying, “Fuck that. I’m not taking shit.” But based on how this season has gone, I’d guess that Ellie does, in fact, not receive any actual shit. But a firing in the finale would certainly be dramatic!

Bravo fans have been waiting a very long time for news about Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, and the network has finally delivered.

Not only did Bravo just drop a brand-new trailer for the fifth season of the hotly-anticipated reality TV show, the network also confirmed precisely when Below Deck Sailing Yacht will return.

Until today, fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht weren't quite sure the spin-off of Below Deck would return for a fifth season, as the last episode of Season 4 aired way back in July 2023.

Editor's note: This article contains brief mentions of sexual assault, abuse, or other related topics that could be triggering for some readers and survivors. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please visit RAINN.org. The National Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-656-4673) is available 24/7.

In late June, one viewer asked Reddit users if Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 was ever going to happen, and even as recently as this summer, fans weren't sure the show was returning.

In that thread, BDSY fans speculated that Season 5 was delayed due to allegations involving First Officer Gary King.

As we previously reported, Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht featured a wild "love triangle" between Gary, Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher , and Chief Engineer Colin MacRae:

"Many things influenced the relationship between Daisy and Colin, but one name was the most prominent: Gary King. "Daisy, Colin, and Gary's entanglement reached a boiling point that got the three in public arguments and name-calling, and at the end, estranged."

A month after Season 4 concluded with a two-part reunion in July 2023, Rolling Stone published an in-depth article , "'Below Deck' Accused of Covering Up Gary King’s Sexual Misconduct," rocking the show's audience.

It reported in part:

"Bravo’s Below Deck was recently lauded for its handling of sexual misconduct when a producer on Below Deck Down Under broke the 'fourth wall' and intervened when one cast member, Luke Jones, tried to get into bed naked with another cast member, Margot Sisson, without her consent while she was inebriated and passed out. Not only was Luke fired from the show, but their fellow cast member and stewardess, Laura Bileskalne, was also let go because of victim-blaming comments she made to Margot about the incident and her own line-crossing pursuit of deckhand Adam Kodra. [...] "Samantha Suarez, who first joined Below Deck in the makeup department on Season 10 of the show, tells Rolling Stone that cast member Gary King tried to force himself on her during production of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season Four, which filmed in Sardinia, Italy, in the summer of 2022."

Fans speculated that Season 5 was delayed due to extensive retooling, but Bravo eventually confirmed the return of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, with a trailer that centers Daisy.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5's Release Date And Trailer

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer

On September 16, Bravo finally released the Below Deck Sailing Yacht trailer.

Bravo shared the clip on Instagram and Twitter/X, to the surprise of fans:

Posts teased the crew's visit to the notoriously riotous destination of Ibiza, and the trailer kicked off with some remarks from Daisy.

Daisy is the first crew member to speak in the trailer, and she addresses the unwieldy love triangle of Season 4:

"Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight. The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. "But now, I'm coming back in more focused, full of energy, and I'm f*****g good at my job. And I'm taking back the reins."

Immediately thereafter, the clip cuts to a cabin, where Daisy tells an in-bed Gary that she refuses to "carry this season," before cutting back to newer footage of Daisy laughing and predicting:

This is gonna be a s*** show.

Then the video shifts to Ibiza, where a voiceover describes it as the world's "party capital," and scenes are interspersed with a lot of breaking glass.

Gary (who has not been let go from the franchise) makes an appearance, and the soundbite chosen for the trailer is bizarre given the allegations levied at him last year:

If the guests don't have a good time, we're clearly doing something very wrong.

As the trailer winds down, one of the crew members (likely Deckhand Keith Allen) muses that "Daisy would make a very good wife."

The trailer wraps with an apparent firing, as well as what appears to be a scene during which the crew veers uncomfortable close to another vessel at sea, at night.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 debuts on Bravo on October 7 at 9PM Eastern, and streams on Peacock the following day.

The Below Deck universe is one of the popular franchises on Bravo. Fans have been clamoring for the trailer for Below Deck Sailing Yacht following the major breakdown of Daisy Kelliher and Gary King ‘s short-lived romance last season. Now, it’s finally here, and the trailer teases everything viewers want — drama, romance, and breaking the rules with the guests.

As fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht know, each season of the show takes place in a different location. Now in its fifth season, the show is set in Ibiza. Season four of the show was set in Italy. This new season comes after Gary was accused of sexual assault.

The new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht seems like a good time based on the trailer, which comes exclusively from E! News . As it begins, Daisy can be heard saying, “Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight. The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I’m coming back in more focused, full of energy and I’m f–king good at my job. And I’m taking back the reigns.”

Of course, she is referencing her breakup with Gary. She then counters the previous statement by saying, “It’s gonna be a s–t show.”

The trailer then teases a bit of work-related drama as she says to Gary, “Guess what? We have a f–king job to do, and I’m not f–king carrying this season on my own, you f–king prick!”

Naturally, the season isn’t only about the failed romance between Daisy and Gary. The trailer also shows the crew getting a bit too friendly with the guests. Captain Glenn Shephard , who is clearly upset, can be seen reprimanding the crew after having too many drinks with the guests.

He says, “You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f–king rules, and now you’re here getting upset.”

This season also welcomes some new faces. There’s Chef Cloyce Martin , Chief Engineer Davide Morosi , Stew Diana Cruz , Stew Danni Warren , and Emma Crouch as the deckhand.

Fans can watch the premiere of season five of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on October 7.

Gael Cameron Is “Freaked Out” About Dating Nathan After Season 9 for This NSFW Reason

Gael Cameron isn't quite ready for her relationship with Nathan Gallagher to be  this  intimate.

season 4 below deck sailing yacht spoilers

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Mediterranean  on Mondays at 9/8c and next day on  Peacock . Catch up on the Bravo app .

Throughout Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean , we've seen Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher 's relationship flourish — but where will they go after the charter season is over? During a preview for the season finale, which airs Sept. 23, Gael explains what freaks her out about dating her beau after they depart Mustique .

"It's really starting to hit me: Nathan and I are really about to leave the boat together. Every so often, I kind of have a little freakout moment where I'm like, 'Is this the right choice?' I'm about to have to sh-t in front of him," she joked in a confessional.

Ultimately, though, Gael is excited at the prospect of dating Nathan off the boat. "I've had people who I thought loved me and have done really horrible things to me, and then I speak to him and everything seems to feel okay again."

Cue the "aww"s.

Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron's first off-boat date

Earlier in Season 9, we saw the lovebirds depart the boat for a day of fun together — with Captain Sandy Yawn 's blessing, of course. During Episode 12, the couple went rock climbing ... an activity choice that Nathan immediately regretted.

Gael Cameron Sheds New Light on Her Breakup: “This Is So Sad” (EXCLUSIVE)

"I am sh-t scared of heights," he said on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show . Still, he noted, "It was nice to get off the boat and interact away from the boat in a different setting."

While on the date, Gael realized how much she liked her coworker.

"It was scary because it was just like, 'Oh sh-t, I'm in too deep now, but this is a real thing,'" she explained. "'Is it bad that I'm kind of happy about it? Is it moving too fast?'"

A split of Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron.

Are Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron still dating?

While neither Gael nor Nathan has revealed the current state of their relationship , they've offered hints at where they stand today. In July, Nathan appeared on an episode of  Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen  and told host Andy Cohen what he thought about the women of New York City.

"We went to a bar for 15 minutes, and we ended up getting numbers," Nathan said of him and Joe Bradley . "So, I mean, it's going alright."

Which is to say ... Nathan's probably  not  in a monogamous relationship.

A month before, Gael teased that "you just have to wait and see" during her own appearance on WWHL . She also noted that she was "not proud" of the time she spent flirting with Nathan while she was still in a relationship at the beginning of the season — though Nathan defended her actions.

"To be honest, I didn't really care, and, like, when you have a connection, you can't hold back, can you?" he said during his own appearance. "So, when you form a connection, think of friendship. If you bond with someone, you can't undo it. So, it didn't cross my mind [to feel bad], to be honest with you."
