The Princess F65, which costs about $3 million, can accommodate eight guests in four cabins and boasts many luxury features.

The yacht was on display in September at the Southampton International Boat Show. The F65's sleek design made it stand out.

The 63ft yacht is designed to withstand the worst weather conditions, according to Will Green of Princess.

The barbecue is positioned on the top deck, also known as a fly bridge. It's neatly built into the kitchen unit — you wouldn't realize it was there unless you lifted the lid.

There is also a "wet bar," with a fridge, sink, and space to entertain guests.

The fly bridge is spacious and has sunbeds that turn into seats.

The yacht has everything a house does, from a dining area to a living room.

The kitchen is equipped with Bosch appliances.

This yacht has two staircases, offering privacy from guests.

The other staircase takes you down to more cabins.

The master has a king-size bed, two-seat sofa, and panoramic windows.

The fixtures are rounded, which gives the yacht a smooth feeling.

The master bedroom has a rather spacious bathroom, featuring dual sinks and a large shower.

The twin bedroom can convert to a double bed.

There is a king-size bed in another cabin as well. The yacht has an owner, who clearly maintains it well.

Princess makes most of the furniture and interior fittings for its yachts as well as the fuel tanks.

We were impressed by the amount of space in which to sit on the main deck, including opposite the kitchen, in the lounge, and next to the helm.

The crew's quarters, located at the back of the yacht, are far smaller than the engine room.

The annual maintenance cost of any boat is between 5% and 10% of its overall value, meaning a bill the F65 of up to $300,000.

The Princess F65, along with many of the company's other yachts, are bought by wealthy boat enthusiasts, business owners, and families, Green said.

The most expensive superyacht for sale is H3 . What began as a refit project escalated into a three-year rebuild that completely transformed the 95-metre Indian Empress. Twenty two years after her initial delivery, she was relaunched as the 105.3-metre H3, with virtually nothing left from her original design except the hull (which had also been extended a further 10 metres). This "rebirth" won her international acclaim and a World Superyacht Award . Her amenities are too numerous to mention but some standouts include a large pool with a waterfall feature, a huge spa and wellness area with a hairdresser and nail salon, a gymnasium and a climate-controlled winter garden in the owner's suite.

Lady Lara joined the market in September 2023, marking the first time she had been available for sale since her delivery in 2015. She boasts a range of entertainment amenities, including two swimming pools – the largest of which can be transformed into a dancefloor – and a custom surround sound set-up. The second pool is found on the sundeck with a swim-up bar, with a large daybed and sunlounger also on this level. Accommodation is for a total of 16 guests across eight cabins and the master suite is positioned on a dedicated owner's deck. It includes a private exterior terrace accessible from the cabin, a library, his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Here Comes the Sun was delivered in 2017 as the flagship of the Amels fleet, a title that she has held for the past six years. She was commissioned by a repeat client with a penchant for The Beatles and has an exterior and interior from the boards of design royalty: Tim Heywood and Andrew Winch . Her outdoor spaces are certain to impress, housing a two-metre-deep swimming pool with contraflow jets and a beach club and bar that leads into a wellness centre with its own sauna, massage room and beauty salon. A full rebuild in 2021 won her a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards .

DAR was delivered in 2018 and won Motor Yacht of the Year "by a good margin" at the World Superyacht Awards the following year. Standout features include an owner's deck – complete with private saloon and Jacuzzi – as well as a wellness area, with Hammam, sauna and massage and beauty room. The upper deck sports a fresh water pool with counter current and the yacht also has a gymnasium with floor-to-ceiling windows. A six-person elevator serves all guest decks, with an owner's party of up to 14.

Pelorus was delivered in 2003 as the 11th largest superyacht in the world and easily the largest yacht to be built by Lürssen at the time. She was commissioned by a Saudi businessman who enjoyed a single cruise aboard his new vessel before a new buyer made an offer too good to refuse. Exterior designer Tim Heywood stocked the yacht with a top deck lido featuring two swimming pools, two helicopter pads and a vast sea-level platform that is revealed by opening the transom. The immense task of designing the interior was carried out by Terence Disdale, who opted to use natural materials wherever possible to maintain a "casual" atmosphere to offset the yacht’s imposing frame. Pelorus can welcome 18 guests with room for an additional 46 crew members.

Savannah 's boundary-pushing design landed her the Motor Yacht of the Year Award at the World Superyacht Awards in 2016. She was the first superyacht to receive a completely metallic paint job and was equipped with a first-of-its-kind hybrid power plant, making Savannah one of the first truly "eco-conscious" members of the international fleet – though she's more popularly known for her Nemo Lounge. Another first, the lounge is designed with a semi-submerged sheet of glazing that provides an incredible view beneath the waterline. The glass wall is also fitted with a drop-down screen for impromptu cinema nights.

With rotating seating areas, an interactive, 18-metre-high forest wall and 800 square metres of windows, Luminosity set a new standard for yacht design when she was delivered in 2022. Accommodation is across an impressive 11 cabins, not including the dedicated owner's deck with its own helicopter pad.  Meanwhile, her counter-flow swimming pool is the exterior centrepiece, kitted out with underwater speakers, an adjustable bottom and a custom chandelier inspired by a diamond. An accompanying four-degree plunge pool is decorated with on-theme visual cues such as mirror-backed acrylic "ice-cubes".

Constructed to Lloyd’s classification, Aurora ' s key figures include an impressive volume of 2,113GT (split across four decks) and a beam of 13.2 metres, while a crew of 22 waits on an owner’s every need. 1920s Art Deco-inspired interiors house up to 16 guests in eight stately cabins. Among these is the private owner’s suite which features wraparound views and access to a private lounge foredeck. She also features an intimate top deck observation lounge with a daybed and a lounge with three bar stools forward, while a gym and Jacuzzi are found aft.

Phoenix 2  takes a page (or two) from Art Deco styling with her cherry velvet flooring and gilded details. The owner commissioned Winch Design to create her intricate cityscape-inspired design concept, including a 5.7-metre phoenix figurehead modelled after the Chrysler building's mounted eagles. Roaring highlights include a sommelier room, multiple swimming pools, a plush cinema room and a custom Steinway for some musical accompaniment at mealtimes. Accommodation is for up to 14 guests in seven cabins, including a full-beam owner's cabin accessible via a glass spiral staircase.

Builder : AKYACHT Length : 85m Designers : Michael Leach Design , Marco Yachts , H2 Yacht Design

After beginning life as a 77-metre explorer 14 years ago, the completion of Victorious was long-awaited. Key features include an indoor pool in the beach club, cocktail lounge, observation saloon and a wine and cigar “clubroom” which features its own fireplace. Accommodation is for 24 guests in 12 cabins, with further quarters for a crew of 22. The owner's suite is located up on the bridge deck and benefits from direct access to the Jacuzzi and sunpads aft. On the foredeck is a "touch-and-go" helipad that can also be used as an entertainment space.

The massive superyacht Bayesian that sank off the coast of Italy on Monday won numerous awards for its sleek interior design — and was sold to its original owner for nearly $40 million.

The luxury sailing ship was carrying 22 people when it capsized and sank during a fierce storm early Monday.

The bodies of five of six missing passengers, including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch , 69, have been recovered. His daughter, 18-year-old Hannah, is the only one of six known killed in the tragedy yet to be found, a source close to the rescue operation told Reuters.

The ship’s chef, Recaldo Thomas, has also been confirmed dead.

Divers continued searching the wreckage of the 184-foot-long, British-flagged vessel, previously called Salute, on Wednesday after discovering four of the bodies.

When it was built in 2008, the Bayesian had the tallest aluminum mast in the world, standing at 237 feet, earning it the award for best exterior styling at the World Superyacht Awards in 2009, the Telegraph reported.

The sprawling superyacht’s interior, decorated with sleek, minimalist furnishings created by Remi Tessier, has also won numerous awards.

The ship, which accommodated 12 guests, had a master bedroom and three double and two twin bedrooms.

It also featured beige sofas, dark wood furnishings, and a teak deck equipped with a large canvas awning to keep guests cool, according to the outlet.

Some of the ship’s styling, including thin brown pillars and miniature terra cotta sculptures, was inspired by Japanese culture.

• A superyacht capsized off the coast of Sicily after a tornado hit the area early Monday, killing seven passengers.
• British tech tycoon Mike Lynch was identified as one of the bodies pulled from the wreckage. His teenage daughter, Hannah, was the final one to be recovered.
• Lynch — known as “Britain’s Bill Gates” — had invited guests from Clifford Chance, a legal firm that represented him, and Invoke Capital, his own company, on the voyage,  according to the Telegraph . 
• Security camera footage shot from 650 feet from where the  Bayesian sank Monday  shows it disappearing.
• A rare and unexpected “black swan” weather event may have led to the  Bayesian’s speedy demise , maritime experts say.

The extravagant ship won best interior at the International Superyacht Society Awards in 2008 and was also voted one of the best large sailing yachts at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards, according to the outlet.

The yacht’s original owner, John Groenewoud, a Dutch real estate developer, reportedly bought the ship for £30 million ($39 million) when it was built. In 2014, he sold the ship with an asking price of £27 million ($35 million).

The Bayesian is currently owned by Revtom, a company that listed Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, as its legal owner.

It was named after the Bayesian statistical model that helps financial investors calculate risk — the subject of Lynch’s PhD that later helped him build his empire.

The vessel, operated by yachting company Camper & Nicholsons, had twin 965hp MTU engines, which gave it a range of 3,600 nautical miles at 13 to 15 knots (14 to 17 mph).

RSB Rigging carried out rig service works on the ship with Astilleros de Mallorca, a shipyard facility in Palma, in November 2016.

The Bayesian returned in September 2020 for scheduled service works, including having its mast removed and reinstalled.

Steve Branagh, managing director of RSB Rigging, told the Telegraph: “At this time, our deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of all those affected by this dreadful tragedy.”

(CNN) — It’s set to be one of the largest private residence yachts in the world when it launches in 2024, but what does a luxury apartment on board the 728 foot Somnio actually look like?Interior renderings of the $600 million vessel have just been unveiled, offering a glimpse inside what’s being described as the world’s first “yacht liner.”While all 39 of the floating apartments, which come with a private balcony or terrace, are said to be “fully customizable,” some of the options showcased include huge shell-shaped beds, expansive living areas with ocean views, and wall-length mirrors.

Prices start from around $11 million, with sizes ranging from 1,600 to 6,500 square feet — the largest condo takes up most of the top deck.Somnio, which means “to dream ” in Latin, was designed by Winch Design and Tillberg Design of Sweden, and will be built by Norwegian ship designer and builder VARD.The interior renderings were devised by Winch Design, Tillberg Design of Sweden along with Luttenberger Design.Those who snap up a condo on “the most exclusive address in the world” will get to work with one of the design teams for up to three months in order to “decide the room configurations and select the materials, furniture, lighting and artwork.”

A gym, a library, inside and outside dining spaces, “distinct” dressing areas and a “vast living room space with 270-degree forward views” are among the options available, although the layout is to be based on the buyer’s preferences.The identity of the owners will be kept secret, but all residents will have access to full concierge services “for both onboard and land-based needs.””As the only residential superyacht in the world, we are delighted to work with designers that complement our exacting standards,” Captain Erik Bredhe, co-founder of Somnio, said in a statement.”Our owners will experience only the best, as is befitting of a yacht of this nature.”

Sustainability focus

According to its designers, sustainability will be a key focus for Somnio, which is to be constructed with the “latest clean engine technology” along with materials and products to “create environmentally responsible interior design with a reduced impact” where possible.Among the shared on board amenities onboard available include a 10,000-bottle capacity wine cellar and tasting room along with a lounge located in the ship’s bow, a spa, a movie theater, restaurants and a beach club.

Residents will be charged an annual fee to cover expenses like maintenance and repairs, along with fuel and food.A spokesperson for the project tells CNN Travel that Somnio has attracted exceptional interest since it was unveiled earlier this year, with some apartments already sold.At present,  The World , which measures 643 feet, is the largest private residential yacht on the globe, with a combination of studios as well as one to three-bedroom apartments on board.
