Any Corporate event is a speciality of ours. What makes this boat unique is that the whole office can board this luxury Catamaran. She holds up to 45 guests with more than enough space to move about freely. Cruise along Durban’s Beach front and in the Durban Harbour while the sun sets over the Durban’s City Skyline. Our beautiful sun is the backdrop of Durban’s city sky-line. No matter what the age, we guarantee a great time. From a 16th to a 60th, every occasion is a memorable one. Madevu SA Charters knows how to make a party happen. This stunning luxury yacht has space, freedom to move, a beautiful bar fully stocked, no under 18 yr olds will be served alcohol and friendly staff to serve you drinks. We have a menu to choose from or you can do your own. What better place to celebrate your birthday with your friends than along Durban’s beautiful coast line.

Madevu Charters weekend public trips.

These are done every weekend at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day, will determine whether we go out to sea and also the distance we can go.

Please note that these are 1 hr trips. We also do these 1 hour trips during holidays and on public holidays.

The public sea cruise is ideal for a fun-filled hour for the whole family young and old. We head out to sea via the harbor channel, where you will be delighted by the view of Durban and Moses Mabhida Stadium. Picnic baskets are permitted.

The Spirit of the South has done more than 2000 local charters in the Durban area, with a mixture of fishing and corporate charters both for local, international and local Royalty.

Where does the boat depart from?

Spirit of South departs from the Durban Harbour. The friendly staff will keep you informed every step of the way after your booking.

Must a deposit be made before payment?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking.  Final payment is required before the date of your trip.

Is the trip refundable if you need to cancel it due to unforeseen weather

What is the maximum number of people allowed on the boat?

20 people in total which includes the crew. Our Skipper, Gary Stewart has been sailing for 28 years.

Can we bring our own food and alcohol?

Yes you can or we can arrange food and alcohol for you, please let us know at least 48 hours prior to your booking.
