11 Amazing Superyacht Swimming Pools That Will Dazzle You
Superyachts are powerful design projects that feature so many amenities as the most complete 5-star luxury hotel in the world. And one of the amenities that we can consider as mandatory in a perfect superyacht is a swimming pool. Basically, no superyacht is complete if it doesn’t have a super pool. Bearing that in mind, CovetED Magazine selected a few impressive examples to inspire you , so take a look at the best and finest 11 superyacht swimming pools spotted at superyachts.
The view on board Dream’s forward bar overlooks the massive swimming pool on board the 106.5 metre conversion, which is split across two-levels. The swimming pool has been designed for easy operation and can be emptied into a dump tank in nine minutes, either from the deck or wheelhouse.
#2 NEW SECRET
Stepping into the project 24 months before its scheduled completion, New Secret ‘s owners extended the swimming pool on the main deck aft to eight metres long and it is surrounded by sun loungers, armchairs, coffee tables, and a bar.
#3 ELANDESS
The eight-metre sundeck pool contains 22 tonnes of fresh water warmed via waste heat recovery. It has a glass wall for watching grandchildren playing and a skylight at the bottom which sits above the main staircase. Elandess won four gongs at the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards 2019 and was delivered in 2018 by Abeking and Rasmussen with exterior and interior design by Harrison Eidsgaard .
#4 HERE COMES THE SUN
Easy to access, this long and shallow pool on board 83 metre Here Comes The Sun ends with a swim-up superyacht bar — one of the main attractions of the first Amels Limited Editions 272 yacht, which was delivered to her Beatles-loving owner in early 2017.
#5 SEVEN SINS
With a glass bottom and glass panels, the pool on the first Sanlorenzo 52 Steel yacht Seven Sins plays with transparencies, creating a spectacular effect in the superyacht beach club below. Styled inside and out by Officina Italiana Design , Seven Sins was launched in January 2017 and is the largest yacht from Sanlorenzo to date.
At the heart of the entertainment on the top deck, both the swimming pool and the spa pool on the 95 metre Lürssen superyacht Kismet are kept at the perfect temperature thanks to a generator heat-recovery system. As if that wasn’t enough, there are two further pools in Kismet ’s spectacular superyacht spa , including a plunge pool for a refreshing dip after a spell in the hammam.
The deep pool on the main deck of the 74 metre CRN custom yacht Cloud 9 contains 10,000 litres of water projecting wave patterns into the beach club below it. The swimming pool also had an influence on the interior styling by British studio Winch Design — a 1.5 metre deep lie-down sofa can be found in the adjacent saloon, which is ideal for relaxing after doing a couple of lengths.
#8 PLVS VLTRA
The large superyacht swimming pool onboard the 74-metre Amels Limited Editions 242 yacht Plvs Vltra was one of the owner’s most important requirements. A counter-current system allows guests to get a proper workout, while the adjacent sunloungers and bar area ensure there’s plenty of room for unwinding after a serious swim.
#9 SAVANNAH
When Feadship teamed up with CG Design to create Savannah there was a real focus on fine details, and the swimming pool is a great example of this with an intricate mosaic pattern created on the bottom. Flanked by sunpads and a massive C-shaped wrap of seating, this is an ideal spot to soak up some sun.
The aft deck pool on 69 metre Tankoa superyacht Suerte is particularly impressive. Fed by a waterfall, it holds 8,000 litres of water and features a swim-up cocktail bar so your guests can have their glass topped up without having to get out of the water. Glass panels in the base allow light to filter through to the saloon below.
The sublimely silent 66 metre ISA superyacht Okto has a real party piece — a superyacht swimming pool that can change colour. Measuring 6.5 metres by 4.5 metres, this aft-deck pool features underwater lighting that can switch from blue to red to green at the touch of a button, and a large pane of glass above the name plate means that those relaxing on the bathing platform can also appreciate this stunning effect.

Some of the Best Superyacht Swimming Pools
10th may 2022 by rightboat team.
Swimming pools on superyachts are becoming ever more popular and it’s not just the largest superyachts which offer these glorious features. Today shipbuilders are finding innovative ways to include pools on yachts in the 25 - 35 metre categories. The bigger the yacht the bigger pool though, and there are some truly stunning examples out there. From waterfalls and yachts with infinity pools, to swimming pools which can convert into helipads or dancefloors the designs are jaw-dropping. Here we take a look at some of our favourite superyacht swimming pools.
Our Favourite Indoor/Outdoor Pool: Victorious
The newly launched 85 metre Victorious is home to a 200 square metre beach club, at the heart of which sits a vast heated swimming pool. Whilst it is within the covered beach club, the roof can retract to provide a sunshine-filled al fresco pool at the touch of a button. Decorated with mosaics, the pool also has a swim current for those wanting to do some serious swimming. The classically beautiful Victorious is a shining example of the new breed of explorer yachts, and able to traverse the most remote corners of the globe.

Our Favourite Glass-Bottomed Pool: Excellence
Easily recognized by her heavily reversed bow and impressive use of glass, the 80 metre Excellence does everything on a grand scale, and her swimming pool is no exception. In addition to two Jacuzzis on the owner’s deck and sun deck, the Abeking & Rasmussen yacht features a beautiful main deck swimming pool with a stunning glass bottom which hovers over the beach club below. Perfect for parties or socializing, the pool is surrounded by bar stools and sun loungers.

Our Favourite Swimming Pool/Dancefloor: Octopus
Octopus needs little introduction. The 126.2 metre yacht was built in 2003 for the late Paul Allen and with features including a helipad and helicopter hangars, a submarine, cinema and music recording studio it probably comes as no surprise that the swimming pool is truly astounding. The huge swimming pool on one of the upper decks, which features a glass bottom, can transform into a dancefloor allowing for a day of lounging and relaxing followed by an evening of partying.
Our Favourite Large Swimming Pool: Luna
When Luna was launched in 2010 she was the largest explorer yacht of all time. Since then her length may have been eclipsed by newcomers, but still holds the crown as having one of the largest superyacht swimming pools. At a whopping 20 metres in length, Luna’s beautiful, partly covered pool takes pride of place on her expansive aft deck and is the perfect place to while away sun-soaked days as she cruises to some of the world’s most astounding superyacht destinations.
Our Favourite Salt Water Swimming Pool: Pegasus V
Some ingenious designing has created a versatile and unique space within Pegasus Vs huge beach club. While the 78 metre yacht designed by Espen Oeino Naval Architects has six decks – including another spa pool - it is the beach club where we find the huge 12 metre swimming pool. Apart from being a dry dock for the yacht’s custom-built tender, the beach club can be flooded with purified sea water to create a beautiful salt water pool surrounded by a sun lounging area.
Our Favourite Waterfall: Dragon
A waterfall on a superyacht must be the height of beauty and design, and that’s why we simply love the tranquility of the waterfall cascading into 80 metre-long Dragon’s exquisite pool. Located on the sun deck, the mosaic-lined pool offers guests a covered spa pool under the waterfall, as well as staggering sea views and plenty of lounging areas. Blissful
Our Favourite Swimming Pool/Helipad: Alfa Nero
Alfa Nero is breathtaking in all ways. The 82 metre long yacht by Oceanco turns heads wherever she goes, and it’s her large, aft deck infinity swimming pool which is one of her most recognizable and impressive features. A glass wall makes up the aft deck, down which water cascades in a true feat of marine engineering. Measuring a staggering 11.6 metres in length, Alfa Nero’s swimming pool has more up its sleeve though as its base can be hydraulically lifted to convert into a helipad or dancefloor.
Our Favourite Counter-Flow Swimming Pool: Quattroelle
With space at a premium on even the largest superyachts, counter-flow swimming pools allow guests to perfect their technique and get a good workout as they swim against specially designed jets. This 88 metre Lürssen yacht designed by Nuvolari & Lenard was created to offer its owners a truly comfortable and enjoyable space to unwind and enjoy life, and the swimming pool certainly does that. The large spa pool with counter-flow takes pride of place on the aft deck and is surrounded by plenty of lounging areas and offers incredible views from its raised position.
Our Favourite Small Yacht with a Swimming Pool: Sirena 88 Sports Model by
It’s not just the largest superyachts in the world which can offer guests a place to cool down. The Sirena 88 Sports model designed by Germán Frers measures 27 metres and offers a delightful foredeck infinity plunge pool. Surrounded by wooden decks and sun lounging spots, it makes for a private and relaxing space on board this flagship Sirena Yacht.
Our Favourite Main Deck Swimming Pool: Madsummer
Ok, so we actually have a lot of favourite main deck swimming pools, but mention must be made of the elegant pool on ?? metre Madsummer. The sunken pool is truly the centerpiece of the main deck, and offers a covered spa pool area as well as spacious surrounding decks. Able to be viewed from the owner’s deck it makes this one of Lurssen’s most impressive pools.
Our Favourite Transverse Swimming Pool: Flying Fox
Flying Fox is one of the biggest yachts in the world at a staggering 136 metres in length and 22.5 metres in beam. And it is this wide beam where the swimming pool really stands out, as it is one of the few transverse superyacht pools. Measuring 12 metres across the aft deck, the lrge yet space-saving swimming pool has counter-jets, a height adjustable floor and the infinity-style glass panel can be misted to opaque for more privacy.

Written by Rebecca Pascoe
It’s a slightly unnatural thing to have a pool floating on a yacht. But the largest private luxury yachts have all the size and the space, so why not? Why not be able to swim in fresh water on the aft deck and laze around the pool when on holiday? Here, we have a look at a selection of some of the biggest and best superyacht pools known.
“ Expedition Yacht Luna on the other hand gets full marks for size…”
No longer content with just a humble hot tub, superyacht designers and owners are venturing for even bigger and more sophisticated swimming pools. As superyachts grow in size and volume so do stunning private pools, many of which are located on main decks as well as fore decks. At night these spectacular pools are lit up by underwater lighting providing a mesmerizing effect.

From 5m long counter-flow sunken swimming pools to 12m custom infinity pools lined with mosaic tiles, surrounded by luxurious cushions and sun pads, there are different styles of pools for guests to enjoy. Some superyacht infinity pools have artificial counter-current and full dive stations which drop off directly into the ocean, awesome.
1. Motor yacht QUATTROELLE doesn’t have the largest pool in the superyacht world however it is impressive none the less. One reason is that it’s positioned way up on the 3rd deck. This makes for fantastic views and full sun. The pool area is also beautifully styled. A striking pool like this comes at a cost in terms of stability, so the pool cant be huge. Obviously the water needs to be drained when the yacht is making passage, as can be seen below. There aren’t many infinity pools on the top deck so QUATTROELLE gets full marks for interest and innovation.

2. The Expedition Yacht Luna on the other hand gets full marks for size. She has a huge aft deck and a huge swimming pool. Few other superyachts have dedicated so much space to sun worshiping. Luna’s long, elegant, trail away deck offers a vast pool, one of the best found on a superyacht. There’s also a huge decking area for sitting and soaking up the sun, just what’s needed to recharge your batteries. Other features include 10 VIP guest cabins each of which is over 100 square metres, a 20 metre outdoor swimming pool, nine decks and a large outdoor entertaining area.

3. One of the earlier very large yachts, Octopus is a 414 foot (126m) superyacht and one of the largest and most recognizable vessels in the world. The Octopus has a glass bottomed swimming pool located in one of its upper decks, ideal to relax in and have a refreshing swim. The yacht’s higher decks rap around the pool leaving a direct line to the sun, or the stars. This beautiful vessel also has many other major features like a cinema, a music recording studio, a hangar for two helicopters and even a ten person submarine. There’s also an owner’s exclusive deck with a walk-in closet, study, outside bar and a whirlpool.

4. The Serene superyacht is a yachting masterpiece with an internal seawater swimming pool (length 15 metres), a hot and cold Jacuzzi plus a jet stream swimming pool on the sundeck, what a choice! In addition to these pools the vessel also has a helicopter hangar, two helipads and a submarine hangar. There’s even underwater viewing space for the 24 guests on board who are well accommodated in the spectacular 12 luxurious state rooms.

5. The Lürssen yacht TV launched in 2008 is a 257-foot (78.3 metre) high volume luxury superyacht is owned by Mexican businessman Emilio Azcárraga Jean. Its sundeck area features a large, stunning spa pool with a capacity for 16 persons and a wonderful contra-flow swimming pool with a 20m water slide. There’s also a bar, barbecue and dining area on the vessel’s sundeck. The lower deck includes an amazing gymnasium, sauna, massage and beauty rooms, everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

6. The spectacular superyacht Ester III has a huge swimming pool. Located on the aft deck it spans two levels with a shallow end and a swim-up seat. Surrounded by sun pads this is one of the best superyacht swimming pools around. It’s perfect for mom and dad to soak up the sun while keeping a watchful eye on the kids as they play and swim in the pool. The water forms a waterfall down the front of the transom, running into teak grates below. It’s no wonder the Ester III was a real eye-catcher at the Monaco Yacht Show.

7. Now a common feature on mega yacht designs, the 269-foot (82-metre) Oceanco superyacht Alfa Nero was one of the first to have a large pool with glass window aft. One of the vessel’s most striking features is her aft deck with its unusually large swimming pool, complete with glass waterfall siding that converts to a helipad. The Oceanco boasts one of the world’s modern superyacht infinity pool innovations, 12 x 38 foot (3.7m x 11.6m). Through a hydraulic system this can be transformed into a dance floor or a helipad – wow!
Alfa Nero was early to have a very large swimming pool on her aft deck.

8. The all conquering megayacht Eclipse is a 557 foot luxury yacht has two swimming pools one of which is a spectacular 15m swimming pool featuring a bottom that can be raised to create a paddling pool. After a day of swimming and frolicking in the pool, this innovative feature can be lifted to turn the area into a dance floor. The Eclipse also has a sauna, cinema, mini submarine, 30 luxurious cabins, two helicopter pads including plenty of high-tech gadgetry.

9. Superyacht PEGASUS V . Another well know yacht, she provides guests with a variety of outside space and a decent sized pool to match. One of the most impressive features on board yacht PEGASUS VIII is the Beach Club (see photo below). This is a dry dock for the custom built tender which disembarks guests directly inside the yacht which can be “flooded” when the tender is outside and forms a 12 metre swimming pool with underwater lighting and steps.

10. NOMAD . Once again, this yacht was early to have a very large pool and outside lifestyle area and many designs have taken up this successful concept over the last 10 years. The sun deck features a spa pool and swimming pool, where you can swim up to the bar, and sunbathing mattresses on each side as well as a fantastic Barbecue area.

11. Solandge is an 85m luxury yacht which was designed by Espen Oeino to offer many places for her guests to socialise or relax in privacy. Each deck has its own distinctive function with all the necessary furniture and amenities, such as built-in bars, buffets, dining areas, a pool and two hot tubs. There is a fantastic exterior cinema and a nightclub with a DJ station on the top deck. There is also an indoor/outdoor gymnasium.

Many of the world’s most luxurious superyachts for charter and sale boast lavish pools with a raft of features, from counter-current jets to glass bottoms, waterfalls, and underwater lights. Some of the most sophisticated pools on yachts even boast depth-adjustable floors, which can be transformed into a dance floor at the flick of a switch.
Read on to discover the best yachts with swimming pools and discover a true taste of the ultimate superyacht lifestyle!
What are the best yachts with pools?
Some of the best yachts with pools include M/Ys MADSUMMER, KISMET, and LADY JORGIA (formerly AHPO).
M/Y MADSUMMER
Motor yacht MADSUMMER is an exquisite charter yacht with a striking pool on her main deck, offering a central destination for convivial get-togethers with friends and family members. The yacht’s pool is surrounded by generously sized sun pads and high glass bulwarks that offer protection from the elements without interrupting sea views. At 12 meters (3.3ft), the pool is big enough for swimming laps or simply soaking in the sun.
The award-winning 95-meter (311ft) MADSUMMER, is a pedigree superyacht built by Lurssen in 2019. Her swimming pool is just one of many delightful features that make MADSUMMER one of the most sought-after superyachts for charter. She boasts a world-class gym and spa, extensive diving facilities, 10 spacious guest rooms, and an elegant contemporary modern interior by Laura Sessa, offering refined spaces for relaxation, dining, and entertaining.
The 95-meter (312.4ft) Lurssen-built KISMET is a refined yacht with pool that offers limitless levels of luxury. Her striking oval mosaic swimming pool with Jacuzzi is her highlight, located on her foredeck, which commands spectacular sea views. The pool depth is staggered, with a shallow rim around the outer edge, offering a great place to immerse yourself in the water while enjoying the sunshine, cocktail in hand. Capping off the pool area is oversized seating, making the pool area a superb social destination.
Beyond the pool, the award-winning KISMET – considered one of the world’s finest superyachts; features include a superb gym and spa, a voluminous master deck with Jacuzzi, and a one-of-a-kind retractable outdoor fireplace. This luxury yacht is listed for sale exclusively with Moran Yacht & Ship.
M/Y JORGIA (Formerly AHPO)
Since her launch in 2021, the record-breaking M/Y JORGIA has been the talk of the superyacht industry. This Lurssen custom yacht is one of the world’s largest superyachts at 115 meters (377.2ft), the world’s most expensive charter yacht – priced at 2.6 million Euros per week – and was recently sold by yacht brokerage Moran Yacht & Ship in what is believed to be the largest yacht brokerage deal in history.
As you would expect, her swimming pool, located on the aft deck, is nothing short of impressive. The glass-fronted, eight-meter pool boasts integrated LED lights and privacy walls, except for the aft wall, which is transparent to enable swimmers to enjoy views of the sea. Immediately adjacent to the yacht’s swimming pool is the hot tub. A heat recovery system redirects heat from the ship’s engines and generators keeping the pool at the ideal temperature. So even on a cruise in Antarctica, you can still enjoy this outstanding feature.
If the yacht’s pool doesn’t take your fancy, M/Y JORGIA boasts a wealth of features to keep you entertained, including a spectacular beach club, a full-service spa and beauty salon, a fully equipped gym, a cinema room, a fully commercial helipad, and a garage loaded with the latest tenders and water toys.

Malia is conceived to be a treat for the senses. Lasvit glass light fixtures, intricate wood detailing produced by Italian artisans, and a gold-covered globe in the stairwell bring a sense of theatre to the interior by Massari Design. So do the polished marble steps, backlit vertical paneling, and champagne-colored metal and glass chandeliers. Yet the overall aesthetic is less Aladdin’s Cave and more Scandi beach house.
Two very different examples: Undulating wood paneled ceilings, full-height windows, and two lateral side doors bring light into the full-beam salon. On the exterior, a large contraflow swimming pool is positioned across the main deck aft. Three skylights at the bottom of the pool filter natural light through to the wood-clad waterfront lounge below where a health bar, lounge area with a large U-shaped sofa, and a wellness center forward bring a sense of calm.
Besides providing far-reaching views, the beach club enjoys a massage room, Turkish hammam, sauna and shower. A hydraulic swim platform makes getting in and out of the water easier for guests of all ages and abilities, not to mention quick deployment of Malia ’s assortment of toys. The yacht’s tenders are launched from side hatches.
Malia sleeps 14 guests in eight cabins, with further accommodations for a crew of 28. The six lower-deck guest cabins have eight-foot-high ceilings—unusual for guest suites. The en suites have Toto Japanese toilets and, between them, employ 20 different types of materials, such as green onyx and Amazonite. Half of the cabins have custom carpets and the other half have oak flooring. Some enjoy full-size bathtubs, others have large showers.
“We tried to keep the design language throughout the yacht the same but create a point of difference with color, finishes and amenities to give guests more choice,” Dimitra Agapitou, interior design director at Golden Yachts, told Robb Report during a tour of the yacht at Monaco. “Some guests prefer bare wood underfoot while others like to sink into luxurious carpet.”
The full-beam owner’s cabin and adjacent VIP on the main deck continue the high-ceiling trend. The master has a private office, a vanity station, a walk-in closet, and super king bed.
Outdoor entertainment is reserved for the sun deck with alfresco dining, oversized sunpads, a large DJ booth, and a touch-and-go heli-deck forward. A second wellness zone comprises gym equipment, a smoothie bar, and a large Jacuzzi for relaxing post workout.
An outdoor cinema screen brings a cozy evening vibe, while a dumbwaiter directly connected to the galley makes services convenient. When high winds threaten to dampen the mood, a hardtop bimini and glass sliding doors close off the central seating area.
“The enclosed seating area was one of the most challenging aspects of the design as the glass can make it hot very quickly,” says Agapitou. “We installed light linen curtains on the inside of the glass and engineered the air conditioning in this space to maintain a comfortable temperature.”
Despite taking delivery in June and putting the yacht in charter last summer, the original owners sold the vessel with zero time on board. Now available for charter with Northrop & Johnson, perhaps Malia ’s new owners promise to break that mold.

Secretive 78m Admiral flagship delivered and en route to Tunisia
The 78-metre Admiral superyacht Platinum has been delivered. She has departed the shipyard's facilities in Marina di Carrara, Italy and is now en route to the port city of Bizerte in Tunisia, according to BOATPro . The yacht will be making her debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show .
Platinum is the largest superyacht to be launched by Admiral and has been kept firmly out of the spotlight since construction began in 2019. Exterior design is credited to Igor Lobanov and is characterised by soft lines and sculptural overhangs.
Exclusive imagery revealed in August 2024 shows off a host of amenities across her four decks, including an infinity pool on the aft deck, a helipad and a rounded bar on the sundeck.
Her undisclosed interiors are owed to Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design , while naval architecture has been completed by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture .
Specs are unconfirmed but she is expected to have a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
This Italian shipyard recently shared its new Admiral Quaranta model with BOAT International. The first unit was sold in May 2024, with highlights that include an aluminium hull for minimised fuel consumption and a flexible internal layout typical of yachts 20 metres longer.

A luxury £113m “mega-yacht” which has its own theatre, spa and a fleet of speedboats is due to visit Plymouth tomorrow. The plush Le Dumont-d’Urville is currently in the North East Atlantic, between Ireland and England, and on its way to Britain’s Ocean City.
The cruise ship is due to arrive at 8am on Friday , for a short stay, and will berth in the Sound with passengers taken to the Barbican by tender. The vessel is operated by Ponant Cruises and classed as an expedition mega-yacht.
It is ice strengthened and often cruises around Scandinavia and Iceland as well as other “offbeat itineraries” including to Caribbean, Baltic, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, South America and Australia. Built in 2019 at a cost of about £113m, the Wallis and Futuna-flagged ship carries up to 264 passengers, in 92 cabins, and 112 crew.
The seven-deck vessel is named after famous French explorer Jules Dumont d’Urville, who charted the Pacific. It has a sundeck with swimming pool, a retractable marina platform for deploying water sports equipment, and its own fleet of Zodiacs, large speed boats used for passenger tendering and landings in remote locations.
Jon Walton, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership’s chief executive and waterfront manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome guests and crew of the Le Dumont-d’Urville to Britain's Ocean City on Friday.”
Cruise ship visits have given Plymouth a £1.5m boost so far this year. Vessels stopping at Britain’s Ocean City have brought 10,000 visitors, many of them spending cash in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
Plymouth City Centre Company’s newly-released draft business plan for the next five years shows Plymouth had 10 cruise ship visits in 2023 and an increase this year. Le Dumont-d’Urville is the 10th arrival in 2024 with another, Artania, still to come next month. The ambition is to grow this to 30 visits a year.
Last weekend the £116m Amadea arrived in Plymouth , berthing at Millbay , with passengers visiting the waterfront during the highly successful Seafest celebrations . The Japanese-built vessel carried up to 624 passengers and 280 crew members. It has 11 decks, with 254 cabins and two royal suites.
Mr Walton said: “This has been a fantastic year for cruise ship visits to Plymouth and is testament to the collaborative work of the Plymouth Cruise Partnership. As always, the welcome we give is second to none, and I give my heartfelt thanks to the Cruise Ambassadors who volunteer their time. The feedback from guests and crew is amazing; I would also like to thank Doug and Annemarie Kerr who lead the volunteer team and who are so important to the partnership.”
