The Northport Yacht Club maintains a clubhouse, restaurant, pool, snack bar, and guest moorings which may be used by members of other yacht clubs having reciprocal arrangements. Our address is 11 Bluffpoint Road, Northport, NY 11768.

Northport Yacht Club's dock is located on the east side of Northport Harbor, N.Y., about 30 nautical miles east of Manhattan on Long Island Sound at 40 deg 54.5 min North, 73 deg 21.5 min west. Use NOAA Charts 12363, 12364, 12365.
Northport Yacht Club has reciprocal mooring privileges with other recognized yacht clubs. Mooring reservations may be made with the dock master at 631-261-7633 ext. 28 . We monitor VHF Channel 71 . You can also request a mooring by sending email to the dockmaster. Be sure to indicate the date requested and the size and depth of your vessel. Send mooring reservation requests to [email protected] .
Northport Harbor provides a pump-out boat (Channel 9). A dockside pump-out facility is also available in Northport Harbor.
COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The Northport Yacht Club is located in the incorporated Village of Northport, a community of 7,500 people with an active downtown area. About a half-mile south of the club, within easy walking distance, is the village's Main Street, which runs from a park on the east side of the harbor through the center of the business district. Along the street near the harbor are many restaurants and shops; further east, you'll find the village historical society and museum with ongoing local exhibits.

There is a fork in the road. Take left fork, Suffolk #35 (2.0mi). Cross Jericho Turnpike (Route 25) (at 3.1mi). Road becomes Park Ave. At traffic light (3.6mi) bear RIGHT onto Suffolk #86 (Broadway). Continue across Cuba Hill Rd. (5.2mi) and past Suffolk #11 (Pulaski Rd.) (at 5.4mi). Continue on Broadway, which becomes Centerport Road. Cross over Route 25A (E. Main Street) (at 7.1mi). From the WEST and NORTH: Take the Long Island Expressway (495) East to exit 41 North (or the Northern State Parkway East if you don’t have a trailer - to exit 35N) to Routes 106 & 107 North. After the underpass, bear right at the fork onto Route 106 north. At the third light, turn right onto 25A (Northern Blvd. – also known as Hempstead Tpke) At the 5th light, by the fire station in Cold Spring Harbor, turn left onto what becomes Shore Road. The Bay is on your left. Proceed about 1/2 mile. The CSHBC is on your left.
From the EAST: Take the LIE West to the exit for Deer Park Avenue North towards Huntington, Rt # 271. Go North past Jericho Turnpike (Rt. 25), over the railroad tracks, to Northern Blvd, Route 25A. (There’s a gas station on the right and a red real estate agent building.) Turn LEFT onto 25A and go west through the town of Huntington, bear right at the fork, continue up and down hill, and go through the town of Cold Spring Harbor. At the second light in Cold Spring Harbor (just before the fire station on left), turn RIGHT onto Shore Rd. The water will be on your left. Go about 1/2 mile to CSHBC on the left.

Take L.I.E. (495) to Exit 41N or Northern State Parkway to Exit 35N. Both exits say Routes 106/ 107 Oyster Bay/Jericho. At the top of exit ramp make a RIGHT turn into traffic flow. On the right you will pass a Waldbaum's & Marshall's Shopping Center, then the Milleridge Inn. After the Inn you will go under an overpass for Jericho Turnpike (Route 25). Bear RIGHT and follow the sign for Route 106 - Oyster Bay. You will travel 6 miles on Route 106 NORTH to Oyster Bay. As you approach Oyster Bay there is a large Hess Station on the LEFT. Make a LEFT turn onto Lexington Ave. Take Lexington Ave. to the end. You will be in front of Roosevelt Elem. School. Make a LEFT onto W. Main Street. Take this road out of the village - bearing RIGHT at the fork. You will then pass under a narrow LI RR trestle bridge. You are now on Shore Road with the water on your right. Stay on this road all the way around the bay - over a drawbridge into Bayville. Go to the end of the Road - make a RIGHT onto Bayville Ave. Stay on this road until it ends at the Center Is. Police Booth. At the booth the road becomes Centre Is. Rd. 30 MPH speed limit is seriously enforced! Take this road to your first LEFT turn (about 2 miles) onto Yacht Club Road. The Club is 1/4 mile on the RIGHT. As you face the water, the Junior Club is on the RIGHT of the main club.

Take LIE (495) to last exit, exit 73, which is country road 58 and becomes Rt. 25. Follow Rt 25 to Greenport, and follow the signs to Shelter Island ferry. Take ferry (which runs continuously every day and takes about 20 min.; tickets are purchased on ferry). Get off ferry onto Rt 114. Follow Rt 114 up hill and bear left, keeping the tennis courts to your right. Follow the water until you come to the yacht club.

Turn right as you go past the Wells Fargo Bank onto Gregory Boulevard. Continue on Gregory Boulevard, passing a large monument. Follow the two yellow "NO OUTLET" signs to the end of the road. You will then see the entrance gate.
