BRANDO includes 12 pages of plans, plus detailed building instructions. Drawings are full-sized, and include drawings for a box to transport your boat (and rig, etc), as well as a table stand and a wall stand.
If you download the plans, you can print on "tabloid" 11" x 17" paper, or A3.
BRANDO complies with Footy class rules for radio control use. For a list of what you need, click MATERIALS LIST .

Is this a project for a beginner model builder? No not really.
You'll see that the drawings tend to not have many parts labeled with dimensions. As long as you don't exceed the 12" long, 6" wide parameters, and you keep your printing percentage consistent throughout the pages, your model will go together nicely, and comply with the Footy rules.

Flavio Falocis plans are fantastic pieces of art as well as making for a great sailing beautiful little footy yacht.
Lots left to the builder to figure out. Dimensions, building sequence, materials substitutions, etc. not a simple build. Have a couple of week’s work left to try it out. Cute little boat though!

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to make a living from my passions. The first is creating 360 virtual tours and video productions, followed by CNC machining, 3D printing and design, laser engraving, building and simply making things. I am also a Certified Sailing Instructor. With everything I do, I bring my many years of creative experience, determination and love of sharing creative ideas.
How it’s Made
Kit includes instructions, all the laser-cut balsa to build a self sailing hull. This kit can be made as a self sailing or Remote Controlled sailboat. Requires rig, sails and hardware… super easy layout with wood or metal tubing and ripstop nylon. (Not Included) Check out our other items for more cool models made in the USA. Tools you may need that are not included are scissors, exact-o knife or razor blade, glue, epoxy or superglue, paint, sandpaper, painters tape hand or electric saw.

The "Full" Pool Shark Kit consists of everything you will need to build a competitive `race-ready' Footy, less radio gear, tools, adhesives and paint. The "Short" Kit does not contain sails or rigging. Both the "Short" and "Full" Kits contain many pre-fabricated parts to make assembly simple and fast. No power tools are required for assembly.
This is a set of plans and a couple pics for my Cobra (the prototype for my entry in the Liverpool Challenge in July, 2008.) It's a bit more complex than Razor, but a better performer, too. The plans are to be printed on 8-1/2 by 14 inch paper. The boat is 300 mm long when built to the plan.

Designed to take standard 2 channel radio controls the 507 assembles into a easy to transport and well behaved little boat. Choose to paint the white hull or add grahics and you have a really special little boat.
Fit the deck and glue in place. Install mast tube, again check alignment carefully. Use a large fillet of glue around mast tube base. Check the weight of the bulb, 200g (8 ounces), adjust if necessary. The lead ballast can now be fitted to the fin as shown. Cut out the rudder and glue in place the brass rudder stock.
