Interior revealed of first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speedboat following delivery

The interior of the new Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speed boat has been revealed after the Italian Sea Group delivered the first hull in the series to its owner. 

“It is a profoundly emotional moment,” said the owner at the delivery ceremony. “The Italian Sea Group has realised a unique yacht with incredible performance – a true jewel of the sea.”

“We are proud to witness the essence of Lamborghini’s DNA now sailing at sea with the same attitude as our super sports cars face the pavement," strategy director of Automobili Lamborghini, Stefano Rutigliano added. "This yacht represents how the shared values and the perfect synergy of the two teams is the key to the realisation of excellent products.”

It comes after the first hull was launched at a ceremony last month.

The 19.2 metre motor yacht weighs 24 tonnes and is a crossover of the two brands, designed to satisfy customers who enjoy both superyachts and supercars. The first hull features a distinctive gold hull paint and details that reference the colours of the Italian flag, but all models are customisable to the owner's wishes.

The yacht’s design is inspired by Lamborghini’s Siàn FKP 37 model, a carbon-fibre hybrid sports car that can reach speeds of 220mp. On the water, this yacht can hit a top speed of 60 knots under the power of her two MAN V12-2000HP engines, making her the fastest vessel of the Tecnomar fleet.

Using the same materials as a Lamborghini supercar, the custom-finished motor yacht is constructed from a special "carbon skin" and features the distinctive engine start button as cars made by the Italian manufacturer. Other details include an extremely aerodynamic profile, a hard top inspired by the Lamborghini roadster models and bow lights which pay homage to the concept car Terzo Millennio.

The yacht features supercar-inspired styling, two bedrooms and two V12 engines

The coolest Lamborghini doesn’t have wheels as the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 has been delivered to its wealthy owner.

Originally announced last summer, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is a luxurious motoryacht that draws inspiration from the Sián FKP 37 .

The yacht’s styling was jointly developed by the two companies and it features a streamlined exterior with angular accents as well as distinctive bow lights that pay tribute to the Terzo Millennio concept . The model also features a “supersport silhouette” as well as a hard top inspired by Lamborghini’s roadsters as it “guarantees not only protection from the sun and wind, but also surprising aerodynamic performance.”

While the exterior is undeniably cool, the cabin is fit for a Bond villain. Starting with the automotive-inspired cockpit, there’s a dual screen digital instrument cluster with a carbon fiber surround. Boaters will also find a car-like steering wheel, a carbon fiber shelled captain’s seat and two start/stop buttons shared with Lamborghini sport cars.

Elsewhere, there’s a stylish bedroom with a skylight and multi-colored upholstery similar to what’s found in Lamborghini models. The bedroom also features two couches as well as a flat screen television.

The yacht also features a minimalist bathroom as well as a second bedroom with two individual beds. Furthermore, in typical Lamborghini fashion, there’s an Ad Personam program which enables customers to select their material and color choices.

The connection to the automaker extends beyond styling as the yacht utilizes carbon fiber and is powered by two V12 engines. The latter have a combined output of 3,945 hp (2,942 kW / 4,000 PS) and enable the model to hit a top speed of 60 knots (69 mph / 111 km/h). The yacht also has a range of approximately 210 nautical miles (389 km) at its 40 knot (47 mph / 75 km/h) cruising speed.

The First Lamborghini Yacht Has Arrived in the US

The first Lamborghini yacht has arrived in North America. In 2020, the Italian supercar manufacturer announced a partnership with Italian superboat manufacturer Tecnomar to produce a limited run of luxury yachts for the global marketplace. Now, the first of these finished boats in the US is waiting for its premiere customer at a dock in South Florida. 

Dubbed Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 , its name carries a variety of different connotations: The boat is 63 feet long, it has a top speed of 63 knots (which translates to around 72 mph on land), and only 63 of them are being built. This number isn’t random though—it’s an easter egg of sorts, pointing to the year 1963, when Ferruccio Lamborghini founded his namesake car company. Each of the roughly five dozen yachts has a starting price of around $3.5 million—and this is before the inevitable optioning-up with custom colors, materials, trim, and other individuated flourishes. Delivered through Miami-based Prestige Marine , the dealership tells AD that more Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 s are on the way. 

The yacht is fitted with a sleek design common to the luxury car brand. 

Of course, it’s the boat’s signature Lamborghini design elements that truly stand out. Aboard the luxury vessel, you’ll find hexagonal patterns on the interior and exterior, Y-shaped headlamps from the marque’s Sián supercar, a jet-fighter-like cockpit, a pair of racing-inspired seats at the helm, and, of course, V-12 power. However, unlike any production Lamborghini supercar, the Techomar features two of these motors, each of which runs on diesel fuel, and produces around 2,000 horsepower.

Racing-inspired seats anchor the helm. 

This is not the first foray into the nautical realm for Lamborghini. In 1968, five years after the founding of his eponymous car company, Ferruccio Lamborghini commissioned a wooden boat from famed Italian shipbuilder Riva and equipped it with a pair of 4.0-liter V-12 engines from his signature sports cars. Later, the marque produced an outrageously potent 7.2-liter V-12 marine engine for use in powerboats. In the 1980s and 1990s, this motor was occasionally shoehorned into the brand’s equally outrageous LM002 , an absurd super-SUV produced in limited numbers, which acted as the precursor to the brand’s current best-seller, the Urus SUV .

The Lamborghini-Tecnomar yacht joins other similar, limited edition, high-end boats produced by exclusive automakers, including Aston Martin , and Mercedes-Benz’s go-fast subsidiary, AMG . These ships are part of a larger initiative among luxury carmakers to create branded lifestyle experiences everywhere their customers may desire to be, including the creation of residential towers by the likes of Aston Martin , Bentley , Porsche , as well as homewares and furniture from Bugatti and a full line of fashion clothing and accessories from Ferrari.

The interiors offer plenty of space for entertaining. 

Not to be forgotten within this context is the full line of Lamborghini Tractors , the first vehicle company founded by Ferruccio back in the immediate post–World War II era in Italy and still in production today. We’re quite certain there is not one large enough to tow this superyacht, but the cross-branding opportunity still seems irresistible.

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63: 2 x MAN-V12, 2.000 PS, 60 Knoten

Lamborghini und der Luxus-Yacht-Bauer "The Italian Sea Group” hatte Mitte 2020 mit der Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 eine Motoryacht präsentiert. Jetzt wurde das erste Modell an einen prominenten Käufer ausgeliefert.

Der irische Kampfsportler Conor McGregor hat sich das "Supercar der Meere" für umgerechnet rund 3,1 Millionen Euro gegönnt. McGregor, der den Kampfnamen "The Notorious" trägt, war mehrfacher Champion in unterschiedlichen Gewichtsklassen bei der UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Sein Vermögen wird auf rund 151 Millionen Euro geschätzt, alleine 63 Millionen erhielt er für einen spektakulären Box-Kampf gegen Floyd Mayweather, den er durch technischen K.o. verlor.

Lambo-Yacht mit MAN-Motoren

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Lamborghini Designcenter und Tecnomar, einer Marke von The Italian Sea Group", wurde die Lamborghini 63 – die Zahl bezieht sich auf das Gründungsjahr des Autobauers – gezeichnet und entwickelt. Dabei nahm man sich den Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 zum Vorbild. Der Hybrid-Sportwagen mit 819 PS wurde auf der IAA 2019 präsentiert und erhielt wegen des Todes von Ferdinand Karl Piëch am 25.8.2019 den Kürzelzusatz mit dessen Geburtsjahr.

111 km/h schnell

Natürlich muss auch eine Lambo-Yacht die Markenidentität transportieren: Tempo und Leichtbau. Für den Speed sorgen zwei V12-MAN-Motoren mit 2.000 PS, die für eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 60 Knoten (111 km/h) gut sind. Damit ist das Lamborghini-Boot das schnellste Modell der Tecnomar-Flotte. Dank des Einsatzes von Karbonfaser reiht sich die Yacht mit einem Höchstgewicht von 24 Tonnen bei 63 Fuß Länge in die Ultraleichtklasse ein.

Optisch zeigt sich das Boot als klarer Ableger des Lamborghini-Designs. Insbesondere die Aufbauten, die nicht typisch für eine Schiffsoptik sind, sollen an das Design von Lamborghini Miura und Countach aus den 60er und 70er Jahren erinnern. Des Weiteren ist das Hardtop von den Lambo-Roadstern entlehnt. Am Bug sind schmale Leuchten-Bänder verbaut, die den Scheinwerfern des Sian oder der Studie Terzo Millennio ähneln und den Blick zur Seite lenken, die mit einem dunklen, nach hinten breiter werdenden Fensterband daher kommt.

Sehr expressiv ist auch das Heckdesign ausgelegt. Hier stechen die Rückleuchten, aber auch der massive Diffusor knapp oberhalb der Wasserlinie ins Auge.

Lamborghini fürs Wasser

Der Kunde darf darüber hinaus über das Ad Personam-Programm seinen individuellen Geschmack ausleben und Farben sowie Speziallackierungen auswählen.

Auch im Interieur, verfügbar in zwei Ausführungen, steht alles im Zeichen des zackigen Lambo-Designs aus Sechsecken, klaren Linien und Y-Motiven. Das zeigt sich besonders am Heck mitsamt Diffusor. Edle Materialien wie Holz, Chrom und Leder sind außerdem in unterschiedlichen Versionen verfügbar.

Der Kapitän behält über ein Cockpit im Marine-Look mit integrierten Navigations- und Kontrollsystemen den Überblick. Er greift in ein von den Sportwagen inspiriertes Steuer und nimmt auf einem Sportsitz Platz. Die unverkennbare Start/Stopp-Taste in zweifacher Ausführung – eine für jeden Motor – ist das exakte Abbild des Lamborghini-Bedienelements.

Tja, im Vergleich mit den Cigarette-Sportbooten, die in Kooperation mit AMG entstehen, stellt die Lambo-Yacht einen Design-Overkill der Superlative dar. Kein Wunder, dass der extrovertierte MMA-Kämpfer McGregor sich ein solches Boot in den Hafen stellt.

Porträt Lamborghini 63 : Marken im Vollrausch

Automobiles Design auf die See zu transferieren beabsichtigen viele Yachtgestalter dieser Tage. Allein in dieser Ausgabe präsentieren wir mit der Azimut Grande Trideck (Seite 84) und „Geco“ von Admiral Yachts (Seite 40) zwei Vertreter, die sich sportlicher Landfahrzeuge bedienen. Letztere gestaltete Gian Marco Campanino (GMC), der auch an der 20 Meter langen Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 beteiligt war. Schließlich sind Tecnomar und Admiral Teil der toskanischen The Italian Sea Group (TISG), als deren Werftgestalter GMC gilt. Und das passt nicht nur aufgrund der geteilten Akronym-Affinität. Der große Vorteil der Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 – hier ist es an der Zeit, mit TFL eine neuerliche Abkürzung einzuführen – liegt darin, dass beide Parteien in glaubwürdiger Weise gleichberechtigt beteiligt waren. Das bringt zuvorderst der wenn auch etwas sperrige Projektname zum Ausdruck.

Automobili Lamborghini gehört seit 1998 zur Audi AG und somit zum VW-Konzern, sitzt aber nach wie vor im italienischen Sant’Agata Bolognese, unweit der Rennstrecke von Maranello – und wurde zum Zeitpunkt der Tecnomar-Kontaktaufnahme noch von dem Italiener Stefano Domenicali geleitet. Als der ehemalige Formel-1-Teamchef von Ferrari auf den CEO von TISG traf, ging alles sehr schnell. Giovanni Costantino erinnert sich: „Wir waren sofort auf einer Wellenlänge.“ Bevor die Synergie zustande kam, machte Lamborghini zur Bedingung, volle Kontrolle über die Produktionskette zu erhalten und es mit einem Partner mit solidem Finanzhintergrund zu tun zu haben. Der erste Punkt wurde im Februar 2021 erfüllt, als Costantino in Marina di Carrara eine Halle einweihte, in der man sich ausschließlich der TFL widmet und die nur von autorisiertem Personal betreten werden darf.

MMA-Kämpfer Connor McGregor heizt die Euphorie um die Yacht von Lamborghini an

Die zweite Bedingung wurde im Juni 2021 mit dem Gang an die Mailänder Börse erreicht. Dem ging die finanzielle Rückendeckung von Giorgio Armanis Modegruppe und dem belgischen Pharmaunternehmer Marc Coucke voraus, die insgesamt mit 15 Prozent eingestiegen sind. In der ersten Jahreshälfte hat TISG einen Nettoumsatz von 80,9 Millionen Euro erzielt, was einem Anstieg von 99,5 Prozent gegenüber den 40,6 Millionen Euro entspricht, die man im gleichen Zeitraum des Jahres 2020 erzielte. In diesen Zeitraum fielen vier Verkäufe, darunter ein 46-Meter-Segelkatamaran, eine 66-Meter-Admiral-Yacht und eben zwei weitere Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 – wodurch die Orderanzahl im hohen Zehnerbereich liegen dürfte.

Noch viel interessanter waren die Vorschusslorbeeren für dieses Kooperationsprojekt. Unter den frühen Auftraggebern befand sich der irische MMA-Kämpfer Conor McGregor, der die Werft medienwirksam besuchte und in der Folge – was viel entscheidender ist – seine Vorfreude auf den persönlichen Social-Media-Kanälen zum Ausdruck brachte. Das Resultat waren weitere TFL-Ordereingänge. Der Grund für die generelle Euphorie aber liegt tiefer, in der Designsprache der Supersportwagen mit dem Stier-Emblem. Mitja Borkert, Leiter des markeneigenen Gestaltungsbüros Centro Stile Lamborghini, erläutert in einer Videopräsentation: „Lamborghini hat die stärkste Design-DNA der Automobilwelt.“ Will heißen: Einen Lamborghini erkennt man als Lamborghini. Sofort. Und auf dem Wasser sollte das natürlich auch der Fall sein.

Gestaltungseinflüsse aus dem Futurismus

In der Gestaltung von Sportwagen ist kein Designparameter so elementar wie die Dachlinie, sie zieht sich vom Kühlergrill bis in das Heck. Sie steigt typischerweise so flach an, wie sie abfällt, und ist vergleichbar mit dem Decksprung, in diesem Fall ist es ein erkennbar negativer. Lamborghini-Formgeber Mitja Borkert nennt den Pacegeber der Silhouette „Gandini-Linie“, in Anlehnung an den Countach. Marcello Gandinis berühmtestes und kürzlich neu aufgelegtes Modell präsentierte Lamborghini erstmals vor 50 Jahren und knüpfte damit an den italienischen Futurismus an, bekannt etwa von den Agip-Tankstellen der 1950er-Jahre oder der Riva-Zentrale „La Plancia“ in Sarnico. Automann Borkert, der zuvor bei Porsche die Exteriorverläufe vorgab, entwickelte die TFL-Linien gemeinsam mit GMC und dem Tecnomar-Team.

Ebenso elementar beim Skulpturieren von Sportwagen sind die Luftein- und -auslässe, zeugen sie doch, wenn auch indirekt, von der Leistung, die in dem Motor schlummert. Bei der TFL ist es ein konventioneller Dieselantrieb aus zwei Zwölfzylindern von MAN mit jeweils 1471 Kilowatt Leistung. Sie beschleunigen den Drei-Stufen-GFK-Rumpf auf 63 Knoten und atmen Luft über Lufteinlässe ein, die wie die Diffusoren im Heck in den Farben der italienischen Flagge leuchten und am Ende des horizontalen Fensterbandes liegen. Das ist in den Unibody-Rumpf als ein großes Sechseck eingearbeitet und greift ein seit jeher prägendes Stilelement von Lamborghini auf. Es taucht auch in der Eignerkabine im Bug auf, etwa als sechseckiges Waschbecken oder Bullauge. In der achterlichen Zweibettkabine von Baunummer eins ziert die Wände ein weiteres Lambo-Signet, das Y. Tecnomar bietet alternativ eine große Frontsuite mit Galley hinten an oder eine Lounge-Version ganz ohne Schlafstätte, aber mit Entertainment-Loft und Eignerbad.

Verknappung macht die Yacht zum Sammelobjekt

Nicht nur inspiriert, sondern tatsächlich von Lamborghini geliefert werden die Sitze und Start-Stopp-Schalter des hypermodernen Cockpits. Hier ist der Anteil von Sichtkarbon sehr hoch, heutzutage ein Markenzeichen von Lamborghini-Fahrzeugen. Aufbauten, Deck und das von den Roadster-Modellen beeinflusste Hardtop laminiert Tecnomar mit höchstem Kohlefaseranteil. Wie beim Hybridmodell Sián FKP 37 bilden die LED-Streifen am Bug ein Ypsilon. Und wie von dem Sián wird es von der 63 Fuß langen Tecnomar for Lamborghini nur 63 Exemplare geben. Das bis ins kleinste Detail auskonzeptionierte Powerformat wird, wie bei limitierten Supersportwagen üblich, mit Sicherheit auch reine Sammler begeistern. Fragt sich, ob diese Exponate dann in Hallen „stranden“ oder für die gelegentliche Nutzung mit Wasser in Kontakt kommen.
