About this gulet

Beautiful newer gulet, refitted in 2016 is sleek 6 cabin modern design, with bright colors and a warm atmosphere. When you enter the salon, you will immediately notice that there is plenty of space, with many windows which let in natural light. From the salon, you can access the two cabins in the front and 4 cabins in the back of the gulet. All cabins are air conditioned with 12 hours included in price and have en suite bathrooms. With two twin and two triple cabins it is great for families with kids. Outdoor area is enormous with lots of cushions, shaded ares and dining space. Large beam provide big cabins and superb accommodation. Incredibly well maintained gulet, steel hull and best possible crew, provide excellent experiences.

• Personal Cruise Assistant  will find a perfect gulet for you and help you select appropriate itinerary
• Concierge Assistant  will  plan all details regarding your cruise 1 month before the start of your cruise (food, drinks, transfers, detailed itinerary, excursions, celebrations, allergies…)
• Local Representative  is there for you 24/7 during the entire cruise in case you need any additional support (restaurant reservations, excursions, communication with the crew – phone support).

Charter price includes yacht rental, crew, fuel for cruising and  VAT .

Food , beverages and port taxes are charged extra. Port taxes are paid according to itinerary and usage, approximate cost for this is 1.500 €/week.

How is food organized?

Before your departure, You will receive a list of food served on board so you can specify all extra needs you might have or remove any items you do not like.Your cruise assistant will forward all of the group’s wishes, info about allergies, likes and dislikes to the chef on board.

How are beverages organized?

Before your departure, Your cruise assistant will arrange that all of your favorite drinks are waiting for you in yacht’s bar. If you decide to buy drinks from yacht’s bar, you will give a list of drinks you would like to have on board, the crew will get them and sell according to yacht’s bar price list. All Inclusive drinks package includes local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; you can bring all foreign brands with you free of charge.

Crew Information

Gulet Morning Star has a crew of 4:

Captain : will take you around all the beautiful places and make the trip as safe as possible. He will follow the pre-planned route, created for you by your “ concierge assistant ” if only the weather will allow it.

Chef :  is famous for its food and exquisite cuisine. Food is modified according to your taste buds and good planning can make wonders for your cruise.

2 Deckhands : the right hand of the captain, will make sure the ship is safely moored, your cabins and deck cleaned and everything in order. They will always be around to make sure you get the right wine with your meals, that the table is properly set and cleaned and chilled drinks brought to you, as soon as you get thirsty. No request is too big for him and a smile is never missing from his face.

About M/Y Morning Star

Jutarnja Zvijezda or Morning Star is more or less traditional Turkish gulet but with steel hull that was built in 2008. It is a juvenile ship with vintage look designed to have 6 cabins that can accommodate up to 14 clients. On its 34-meter-long hull there is many leisure amenities to be found.

The cabins are consisted of two double bed cabins, two triple bed cabins with bunk bed and two twin bed cabins. The cabins are very clean, and the pale kind wood opens up the space and goes perfectly with light beige linen colors. Every cabin has their own independent air conditioning system that insures you have a good night sleep. Each cabin is equipped with a wardrobe, bathroom towels, beach towels, 24 V/220 electricity and its own private bathroom. The bathrooms are spacious and come with all necessities like hair dryer, shower box, shampoo, soap and other. Every cabin has a nice thick carpet on the floor providing maximum comfort while in cabin.

Additional Morning Star description:

Above the cabins is this beautiful open saloon. Its polished light wood together with many bit windows surrounding the saloon, completely opens up the space. Gorgeous gray design with American cherry wood adds a touch of luxury and it is perfect stop to have some quiet time to read the book or check emails. Smooth wooden table with couch is perfect for playing board or card games with your friends. On the opposite is a nice white couch. Of course, there is a big bar that has every drink possible and a perfect area to sit and let yourself go. Beside the bar is entry to crew galleys and kitchen, where a skilled chef prepares all the delicious food. The saloon can be used as a dining area in case of bad weather.

The deck will definitely be the area where you will spend most of your time. Not because logical reasons like dining etc., but because it provides this amazing view of the boat and the environment. The bow is this spacious area that had beautiful dining table with comfortable garden chairs. There you will try all Croatians delicious food and enjoy our top-quality wines. Behind the table is a big cushioned space with loads of pillows. A great area for relaxing with your favorite drink while sailing. The whole deck is covered so you can enjoy hidden from the hot sun. If the bow is for hiding form the sun than, the stern is definitely there to welcome it. Comfortable sun matrasses are spread across the sun deck and on the front is a small lounge area. There, the pictures you take will be to die for.

A kayak, a stand-up paddle, water ski and wake board are great amenities to get your self more active, after those lazy, relaxing hours you spent on the boat. Professional four crew member will be at your service at all times and do all in their power to make your charter unforgettable! Put your trust in them, because they know the best.

Port fees - Anchorages:

Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors.

The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call.

It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 1000 - 1500 EUR).

The yacht price does not include:

• Food and beverage cost, entrance to the national parks, public port fees and tourist taxes, harbor taxes and special demands for private marinas, and tip / gratitude for the crew.
• Extra navigation 60 EUR/h
• Dubrovnik visit fee on Split-Split route is 1.500 EUR
• Delivery Fee (1.500 EUR) for embarkation / disembarkation in any other port except base port, if “empty leg” caused.

First impression when you look at this gulet would be at least amazing as it is about vintage looking sailing yacht with elegant lines and curves, inviting deck and a touch of glamour. She has been built in 2008 but has been fully maintained and refurbished year after year. So, we are talking about a youngster with vintage look. Morning Star is equipped with 6 cabins (2 double cabins, 2 twin cabins, 2 triple cabins). Combination of American cherry wood and bright colors make warm and welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant relaxing dreams are ensured by the fact that every cabin has their own independent air conditioning system. Daytime is to be spent either swimming and snorkeling, sipping refreshing cocktail in the shade in aft cushion area, or sunbathing on the cushions in the front. Special shaded cushioned area at front allows you to fully enjoy the stunning view and wind in your hair while sailing. Namely, Morning Star is one of the few gulets that has full sailing equipment and very good sailing performances. The dining area holds the central and the most important position on the deck because special care aboard the Morning Star is given to the gastronomy. Evening chats, or time to dine can also be spent in spacious saloon which abounds with natural illumination thanks to huge window area that surrounds the saloon. Last but not least, the inevitable part of the story about this yacht is the crew. Tomislav Grubeša

Tomislav Grubeša, captain of Morning Star was born in 1984 in Đakovo, in continental part of Croatia.

He has finished culinary high school in his home town but the sea was calling him, and he ended up working as a deckhand on a few gulets in Croatia.

After he passed the yacht master’s exam he started working as a skipper, first on gullet Malena and later on gullet Morning Star. He has proven himself to be an excellent skipper as he learned a lot from the captains he worked with.

Marin Jelić

Marin is born on July 13, 1997 in Stuttgart, Germany. Grew up in small town Stobreč near Split.

After completing high school, he embarked on a career in the hospitality sector, taking up a role as a bartender in a hotel. This position marked the beginning of a passion – driven career in hospitality. His journey in the industry progressed with a significant role as a shift manager and waiter in a coffee bar.

Out of love for hospitality and a desire for greater knowledge, enrolled in the study of Hospitality and Gastronomy. His last years experience as a waiter at a sailing yacht has not only enriched his skill set but also clarified his career trajectory, focusing on maritime as his chosen path.

In addition to his professional activities, he likes to play sports, especially football and darts. These activities highlight his team spirit and qualities that have been useful in both his personal life and hospitality career.

Igor was born in Šabac on April 8, 1988. Upon completing his high school studies focusing on cooking and food technology, Igor embarked on a journey to expand his knowledge by delving into engineering.

Driven by his passion for ensuring safety and mitigating risks, Igor pursued higher fire protection and disaster risk management education. This diverse educational background equipped him with a unique skill set to leverage later in his professional endeavors.

Igor gained valuable experience throughout his career by working in various prestigious establishments across different countries. He refined his culinary skills while serving in restaurants in Novi Sad, Montenegro, and Croatia. Notably, he made significant contributions to esteemed hospitality venues such as the Pupin Hotels in Novi Sad and the Movenpick Fruške terme Hotel in Vrdnik near his hometown.

In his leisure time, Igor enjoys engaging in a variety of activities. He finds relaxation and joy in swimming, cycling, reading, and watching movies. However, his true passion lies in music, mainly playing the drums. Igor is proficient in percussion instruments such as kahon, djembe, and tarabuka.

Nikola Menalo

Nikola Menalo, born on February 20, 1987, in Đakovo, completed his education at a local high school specializing in electrical installation.

With a vibrant personality and strong communication skills, he chose to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Over the years, he has gained experience working as a bartender in a cocktail bar for six seasons, spending one season in a restaurant, and serving as a sailor for four seasons on a similar vessel.

Known for his reliability and sociable nature, Nikola is fluent in English and German, always eager to engage guests in enjoyable conversations, particularly about his passion for sports and recreation. As a gracious host, he ensures that every guest feels welcomed and comfortable, fostering a home-like atmosphere.

During winters, Nikola works as a bartender in his hometown, but his love for travel and adventures draws him back to the coast each summer, seeking fresh adventures.

Crew of the Morning Sun –  ! WOW !

We had an amazing week aboard your ship. All expectations were exceeded, expectations that were set high because we were having a once in a lifetime family trip with my 84 year old dad and all 4 of my brothers and sisters.

Dom was the master captain, keeping us on track exploring all the islands of our ancestors. Ilija made sure our kids were happy, playing endlessly  in the water, laughing and splashing in the blue waters of the Adriatic. Ivan made sure every whim was extended too. Serving our delicious meals, mixing our yummy cocktails and keepin an eye out on our every move.

And George… what can we say? The food was absolutely amazing! Every meal made with love and tender thought. Each plate served with the utmost care and attention to diet. We have no idea how meals were assembled and cooked in the tiny kitchen – but it is not the equipment  but the mastermind!

We are so grateful for the excellent service provided. We hope you come to visit us in San Francisco!

Each day. Dom made sure he picked the perfect spot to let us swim, we had privacy and were able to relax and enjoy this cruise so much that we are already talking about the next trip.

PORT FEES/ANCHORAGES:

Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash),according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 - 1,000 Euros).

Her beamy hull provides surprisingly large cabins for her 27m / 88ft length, whose arrangements are ideal for families, particularly for kids or groups of friends who don’t want to share a bed, as four of the six are twins and the remainder are generous doubles. Amenities in all the ensuite cabin’s bathrooms, with massaging power showers, include shampoo and hair dryers.

Bright sunny saloon

The light and airy cherrywood saloon is a delightful alternative dining area if al fresco dining on the aft deck is occasionally too windy. The saloon’s intimate bar is ideal for a late nightcap.

Choice of shade and sun

Both the aft and foredecks offer comfortable seating which can be either sun-drenched or shaded at the drop of a hat.

Water sports and sailing

Port and Tourist Taxes

The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/port costs. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 – 1.000 Euro/week). In the case of the large consumption of water or fuel during the cruise yacht should go to the port to refill.

Non-Mandatory Extras:

Private Marinas:

• If a client wishes to use private marinas the costs can vary from 300 and up to 800 €/night.
• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

Additional Motorized Water Sports:

• Morning Star has water skiing and wakeboard which is charged 60 €/hour according to clients usage.

Other Options on request:

• Land transfers, fishing licenses, guided tours, excursions, restaurants, bike rentals, car rentals.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Luxury Gulet Morning Star is a shining star in our gulet offer. First impression when you look at this gulet would be at least amazing as it is about vintage looking sailing yacht with elegant lines and curves, inviting deck and a touch of glamour. She has been built in 2008 but has been fully maintained and refurbished year after year. So, we are talking about a youngster with vintage look. Morning Star is equipped with 6 cabins (2 double cabins, 2 twin cabins, 2 triple cabins). Combination of American cherry wood and bright colors make warm and welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant relaxing dreams are ensured by the fact that every cabin has their own independent air conditioning system. Daytime is to be spent either swimming and snorkeling, sipping refreshing cocktail in the shade in aft cushion area, or sunbathing on the cushions in the front. Special shaded cushioned area at front allows you to fully enjoy the stunning view and wind in your hair while sailing. Namely, Morning Star is one of the few gulets that has full sailing equipment and very good sailing performances. The dining area holds the central and the most important position on the deck because special care aboard the Morning Star is given to the gastronomy. Evening chats, or time to dine can also be spent in spacious saloon which abounds with natural illumination thanks to huge window area that surrounds the saloon. Last but not least, the inevitable part of the story about this yacht is the crew. TOMISLAV GRUBEŠA - CAPTAIN Tomislav Grubeša, captain of Morning Star was born in 1984 in Đakovo, in continental part of Croatia. He has finished culinary high school in his home town but the sea was calling him, and he ended up working as a deckhand on a few gulets in Croatia. After he passed the yacht master’s exam he started working as a skipper, first on gullet Malena and later on gullet Morning Star. He has proven himself to be an excellent skipper as he learned a lot from the captains he worked with. Reliable and organized, but flexible, he is a great host ready to fulfill our guests’ wishes making sure they have time of their lives. He is also very communicative and sociable, enjoys meeting new people. During winter when he is not with his wife and children, he enjoys playing futsal and squash. IVAN TRGO – CHEF MATE/OWNER Ivan Trgo is chief mate and owner on Morning Star. Born in 1988 he attended vocational high school for electronic technicians. After high school, he attended the Maritime Faculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license. He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants as a waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in the Split shipyards. In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the boats. He has been living in Ireland for a few years, so his English is at an excellent level. In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling. He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an excellent host and communicator. He will do his best to make your holiday on Morning Star unforgettable experience. ANTE RAKO - WAITER Born in 1999 in Split, Ante is young but enthusiastic. He has finished School of Electrical Engineering in Split and currently he is studying electrotonic at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Well brought up and diligent he started working early during the summer seasons. He has been working for two seasons in 5 stars hotel Le Meridien Lav as a buffet waiter serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners, gala dinners etc. and two seasons as a waiter in a Gooshter beach club (Le Meridien Lav). Last year he has worked as a waiter on Morning Star as he has proven himself to be hardworking and attentive. Guests love him because of his kind nature and good manners. Ante has a wide range of interests. His free time mostly spends on different sport activities (gym, jiu-jitsu etc). He enjoys meeting new people from different cultures so working on Morning Star is great pleasure for him. MENSUR HADŽIĆ - CHEF Hadžić Mensur is a chef at Morning Star. He was born in Mostar on December 17, 1982, where he graduated with a degree in economics. On the other hand, his interest in gastronomic topics and his great love for food led him to the world of cooking. He completed his education as a chef and worked in several restaurants in Croatia and Sarajevo as a head chef. By preparing various dishes from culinary culture, he gathered a wealth of experience behind him. He is very friendly and communicative, open to new knowledge and experiences, and in addition to excellent knowledge of the English language, he also speaks Spanish. In his free time, he likes to engage in sports activities, and his favorite hobby in life is sailing.

He is also very communicative and sociable, enjoys meeting new people. During winter when he is not with his wife and children, he enjoys playing futsal and squash.<br /> <br /> IVAN TRGO – CHEF MATE/OWNER<br /> Ivan Trgo is chief mate and owner on Morning Star. Born in 1988 he attended vocational high school for electronic technicians. After high school, he attended the Maritime Faculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license. He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants as a waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in the Split shipyards. In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the boats. He has been living in Ireland for a few years, so his English is at an excellent level. In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling. He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an excellent host and communicator. He will do his best to make your holiday on Morning Star unforgettable experience.<br /> <br /> ANTE RAKO - WAITER<br /> Born in 1999 in Split, Ante is young but enthusiastic. He has finished School of Electrical Engineering in Split and currently he is studying electrotonic at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Well brought up and diligent he started working early during the summer seasons. He has been working for two seasons in 5 stars hotel Le Meridien Lav as a buffet waiter serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners, gala dinners etc. and two seasons as a waiter in a Gooshter beach club (Le Meridien Lav). Last year he has worked as a waiter on Morning Star as he has proven himself to be hardworking and attentive. Guests love him because of his kind nature and good manners.<br /> Ante has a wide range of interests. His free time mostly spends on different sport activities (gym, jiu-jitsu etc). He enjoys meeting new people from different cultures so working on Morning Star is great pleasure for him.<br /> <br /> MENSUR HADŽIĆ - CHEF<br /> Hadžić Mensur is a chef at Morning Star. He was born in Mostar on December 17, 1982, where he graduated with a degree in economics. On the other hand, his interest in gastronomic topics and his great love for food led him to the world of cooking. He completed his education as a chef and<br /> worked in several restaurants in Croatia and Sarajevo as a head chef.<br /> By preparing various dishes from culinary culture, he gathered a wealth of experience behind him. He has finished culinary high school in his home town but the sea was calling him, and he ended up working as a deckhand on a few gulets in Croatia. After he passed the yacht master's exam he started working as a skipper, first on gulet Malena and later on gullet Morning Star. He has proven himself to be an excellent skipper as he learned a lot from the captains he worked with. <br /> Reliable and organized, but flexible, he is a great host ready to fulfill our guests' wishes making sure they have time of their lives. He is also very communicative and sociable, enjoys meeting new people.<br /> During winter when he is not with his wife and children, he enjoys playing futsal and squash.<br /> <br /> IVAN TRGO – CHEF MATE/OWNER<br /> Ivan Trgo is chief mate and owner on Morning Star. Born in 1988 he attended vocational high school for electronic technicians. After high school, he attended the Maritime Faculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license. He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants as a waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in the Split shipyards. In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the boats. He has been living in Ireland for a few years, so his English is at an excellent level. In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling. He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an excellent host and communicator. MORNING STAR is a beautifully crafted gulet, launched in 2008, refitted in 2016 and updated annually. This wide-beam yacht is ideal for larger groups. Her cabins are a very good size and the sundeck area is spacious. The aft deck provides a wonderful alfresco dining area.

Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.

CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

OMISLAV GRUBEŠA - SKIPPER

Tomislav Grubeša, skipper of Morning Star was born in 1984 in Đakovo, in continental part of Croatia. He has finished culinary high school in his home town but the sea was calling him, and he ended up working as a deckhand on a few gulets in Croatia. After he passed the yacht master's exam he started working as a skipper, first on gulet Malena and later on gullet Morning Star. He has proven himself to be an excellent skipper as he learned a lot from the captains he worked with. Reliable and organized, but flexible, he is a great host ready to fulfill our guests' wishes making sure they have time of their lives. He is also very communicative and sociable, enjoys meeting new people. During winter when he is not with his wife and children, he enjoys playing futsal and squash.

IVAN TRGO – CHEF MATE/OWNER Ivan Trgo is chief mate and owner on Morning Star. Born in 1988 he attended vocational high school for electronic technicians. After high school, he attended the Maritime Faculty in Split, getting a degree in nautical science, and a skipper license. He has worked on numerous ships as a sailor and waiter, in several restaurants as a waiter, and he also worked as an electrician in the Split shipyards. In the recent years, he has joined his brother Domagoj in the family business. He has been helping with designing and maintaining the boats. He has been living in Ireland for a few years, so his English is at an excellent level. In his free time, he loves reading, music and travelling. He is a very friendly and cheerful person, and his love for travel and meeting new people makes him an excellent host and communicator. He will do his best to make your holiday on Morning Star unforgettable experience.

ANTE RAKO - WAITER Born in 1999 in Split, Ante is young but enthusiastic. He has finished School of Electrical Engineering in Split and currently he is studying electrotonic at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Well brought up and diligent he started working early during the summer seasons. He has been working for two seasons in 5 stars hotel Le Meridien Lav as a buffet waiter serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners, gala dinners etc. and two seasons as a waiter in a Gooshter beach club (Le Meridien Lav). Last year he has worked as a waiter on Morning Star as he has proven himself to be hardworking and attentive. Guests love him because of his kind nature and good manners. Ante has a wide range of interests. His free time mostly spends on different sport activities (gym, jiu-jitsu etc). He enjoys meeting new people from different cultures so working on Morning Star is great pleasure for him.

MORNING STAR is a beautifully crafted cruising yacht launched in 2008. Morning Star contains a number of commodities that will make your sailing experience as enjoyable as possible  in CROATIA

6 elegantly furnished cabins are highly comfortable and can provide accommodation for up to 12+2 charter guests.

All cabins are covered with mahogany panelling and complemented with air conditioning. Mahogany is also used in the design of the remaining interior spaces, emphasizing the warmth and natural lighting of the salon. Spacious exterior spaces offer expansive sundeck areas with comfortable sun pads and mattresses, whereas the aft deck provides a wonderful al-fresco dining area.

The aft deck has a hard top as a perfect shade option, cushioned platform and wonderful al-fresco dining seating 12. The front deck has sun mattresses and is an exciting place to be when the yacht is under sail.

The above prices include: Accommodation on the yacht, 4 crew members, wages and food for the crew, Croatian VAT, fuel for main engines up to 4 hours cruising per day, fuel for 12 hours/day of generator use, complete linen and towels, yacht insurance, service on board, sojourn taxes, yacht cleaning, use of leisure equipment on board, WiFi. Leisure equipment: snorkeling equipment, kayak, two SUPS, (water ski, wake board: 60 EUR/h), fishing equipment, LCD, TV, Wi Fi, board games.

OBLIGATORY ADDITIONAL COSTS: – Food – Drinks/beverages – Port, anchorages and marina fee

PORT FEES/ANCHORAGES: Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 – 1,000 Euros).

FOOD OPTIONS:

Half board (breakfast + lunch): 390 Eur per person per week Full board (breakfast + lunch + dinner): 600 Eur per person per week Extra meal (dinner – three courses) is optional 35 Eur per meal per person FOOD DISCOUNT FOR CHILDREN: Children 0-2 years free of charge, Children 2-12 years 50% discount.

DRINKS/BEVERAGES OPTIONS:

Drinks/beverages to be taken at the yacht bar and paid according to consumation.

All inclusive domestic drink package of 200 Eur per person includes: Croatian quality wine, domestic beer, spirits, soft drinks, natural and mineral water, milk, tea and coffee. Foreign liquors and wines are not included in this package.

All-inclusive non-alcoholic drink package: 100 Eur per person per week. Important Note: All inclusive option includes some Croatian wines served by the crew, not all of the bar’s list. Not included: Imported wines, beers & spirits. Drinks and beverages completely supplied by clients – corkage fee: 700 Euros per week.

A crew gratuity is customary and not in the price included (usually varies from 5% to 10% of the charter fee).

Dubrovnik visit fee on Split – Split route 1.000 Eur.

Delivery Fee (1000 EUR) for embarkation / disembarkation in any other port except base port, if “empty leg” caused.

Extra navigation: 60 Eur/hour. This cost is already included in Delivery Fee.
